I personally have not found there to be any real benefit to it so far. Only difference I’ve seen is that the keyboard comes up quicker when searching in maps. Overall my cell signal is terrible for some reason so map loading is still meh.

I've noticed no change in regen in my car, but it's also colder out, so I do have restricted regen due to the weather. The one thing I noticed last night is the auto-high beams didn't quite work. Stayed on while another car drove past me (and of course it was a cop, sorry fella).

You are mistaken. It fully downloads the update before it prompts you to install it.

I did the CCC upgrade and with 2.8.4 I've had an issue where the car came on, everything except the pilot panel, it was just a black screen. So I had to reboot. That was a new one

Yeah, I didn't notice anything different. IE, even with the key fob it took entirely took long to unlock my car as I walked up to it from behind

Sounds like folks need to take this into consideration at lease end whether it’s worth buying it out. It may make sense to buy it, hang on another year or two, then sell privately or trade it in. It’s really impossible to know, though. Personally I plan on just buying mine unless the company...
