21,000-Mile Review: Living with the Lucid Air Sapphire

Hauling construction material with 1200+ hp, gotta love it! Thanks for the write up. I was quite curious about your tire life. 12k is about what I'd figured.

    Air software version 2.10.0

Yup that's the band-aid. Still extremely irritating having to pull over to cycle the system. I wish they'd fix it.

    Air software version 2.10.0

I've been living with this bug probably for the past 12 months. In my experience it affects the entire sound subsystem, including system sounds such as blinkers and haptic feedback. Super difficult to reproduce/troubleshoot. There's a thread about it buried somewhere in the forum.

    PA-144

Hagerty just did a write-up on their best road in the country for 2026, they awarded this year to route 144 in the middle of Pennsylvania: https://www.hagerty.com/media/driving/hagerty-road-of-the-year-2026-pennsylvania-route-144/ I'll let Hagerty's article describe the route in detail, but...

Towing a RV Trailer with a Gravity Grand Touring

Thanks for sharing the experience, I always enjoy reading these. That's pretty crummy they lock out cruise control in tow mode, hopefully that's on the roadmap.

    DDPro dead

If you've tried a reset and already checked the sensors for obstructions then I think Lucid service is your next step. Your sensors may need alignment, or the ADAS computers may not be in agreement. If this was caused by some sort of GNSS interference, OP's nav system wouldn't be functioning...

    2.9 Software update failure.

I believe the agreement states we're required to install any updates offered, and since Lucid isn't offering him the update I'd argue he's within the agreement. If an update has failed installation and he's notified Lucid (which he said he has) I'd still argue he's within the agreement.

    2.9 Software update failure.

Not that I don't sympathize, but is there a particular feature/bugfix in the 2.9 release that you're jonesin' for? I understand FOMO but unless there's a problem I'd leave it alone. If Lucid is aware then I'm sure they'll eventually have a fix for you.

Article - We've Reached Peak Horsepower. Now What?

That's chonkin massive for a Caterham. Adding lightness and miniaturization is good and all, but it's also impossible at any reasonable price point due to US federal safety standards introduced in the 2000s. That's why we have A-pillars the size of tree trunks and door frames that go up to our...

Buying a Lucid in the next 60 days

Love my Zenith Red, can't go wrong there. Like others have said, the 2025 MY will have a few upgrades that are probably worth holding out for. The GT does have the larger battery but you're sacrificing a small bit of legroom in the backseat. Could be something to consider depending on your...

    Lane Change Flashes too short?

Having the ability to change the number of flashes should be a benefit of living in this software-defined world of ours. Totally agree with you. I'm going to reach out to support to submit a feature request, I'd suggest doing the same.

Level 2 EV Charger at home, for Lucid Gravity Touring - Suggestions / Experience

I'd been using the Lucid portable charger on a NEMA 14-50 outlet I had installed in my garage years ago. No issues encountered due to cold weather. The charger was on an external wall too so it got plenty cold during the harsh months. Last month I finally upgraded to a hardwired solution so I...

Thinking about buying a used Air, how can I tell how the previous owner charged it?

Care to share your battery health stat? Rogue said he's at 6% after some pretty hard use, I'd be curious to see the difference against a duty cycle like yours.

Why Gravity when on the road on motion looks like it has "tail dragger" (california look )

Post a pic or two, show us what you're seeing? I've heard a lot of mixed feelings on the styling but I don't think I've heard anyone has used the phrase tail dragger..

Misha Charoudin: Lucid Gravity on the Nurburgring!

Great video, I was hoping he'd give Gravity a turn at the green hell! I'm not a fan of the "celebrity" endorsements but he's a pretty great ambassador for the brand.
