On the Tesla app under Charge your Non Tesla I’m looking at a charger in Ann Arbor MI which says 250 kW max and pricing ranges between 28-49 cents per kWh depending on time of day. So the 250 kW power number does not actually apply to non Teslas. Seems disingenuous.

Tidal Hi-Fi is excellent high definition resolution. I listen to Sirius as well because I like some of the channels and I already have a subscription for all of our vehicles.

I don’t know this for certain but I don’t think driving aggressively warms the battery. I think the thermal management system warms or cools the battery for battery health. So that is simply a function of time not load on the battery. It is very hard to do valid tests of preconditioning...

I have noticed little impact from preconditioning unless ambient temp is cold (<35F) or hot (>90F). In particular, preconditioning is very helpful at frigid temps <20F.

Wisconsin is anti EV. There is an annual charge of $175 for EV’s in addition to the normal registration fee.

My utility has a TOU plan for the outlet associated with the wi-fi enabled EV controller. The controller measures energy delivered and accounts for that separately from tbe main meter. It is a great approach. 12am-8am is $.073/kWh. Whole house rate is $.173. Peak rate for the EV outlet is $.23.

It is station dependent. The newer units clearly work better. I pulled 245 kW with my Touring last stop starting at about 15% SOC. Preconditioning impact would be interesting.
