    Ionna rocks

They are all on PlugShare. You can filter by brand if you'd like. They provide real-time charger status to PlugShare unlike EA, so there's basically no reason to use Ionna's website.

    Home Assistant Automations

Air doesn't expose average efficiency. I believe Gravity does, but I don't have one, so haven't really verified that. The diagnostics ethernet port requires authentication from Lucid's diagnostic software. Without that, it's silent.

Charge port door stuck closed? Read this

The manual does have instructions for opening the door without power, for what it's worth: "Gently" may be putting it nicely from the sounds of it though.

    How to access camera views?

Many regulars here, myself included, just watch the "new posts" feed and had gotten used to every post being about Air up until the past few months. So yes this is a Gravity thread in a Gravity sub-forum, but that's why I pointed it out - some of the earlier commenters were I think not noticing...

    Trunk issues

As long as it unlatches, just lift it up by hand? It doesn't do any harm to operate it manually. That's more than likely a hardware problem that service could fix. Out of alignment or some such thing.

Maybe time for a new thread for owners who report *no* problems, (or at least, very few)

So frustrating reading this everywhere. The e-tron GT-P is in my opinion the best looking EV out there right now, aside from maybe the Maserati GT EV. At least with a name like Maserati I have no illusions of it actually working. I'd hoped for more from an Audi built out of Porsche bits. 😞

    Picked up my sapphire but…

Not surprised. You can't normally unlock the car during an update, and you can't unlock it if there is no 12V power. Is there anything on the screens in the car? Normally it'll show the update progress in there as well. If not, I think it has no 12V power. Maybe just a dead battery, maybe it...

    Home Assistant Automations

Well that's random. I was hoping it was exactly 350ºC or something, an obvious "I don't know" value we could just ignore. Doesn't seem like a round number in any unit to me though. We might just have to decide on some reasonable bounds for those and ignore values outside that range.

    Picked up my sapphire but…

That's not how that works. Updates are downloaded silently before it shows you anything on screen. Pressing the button only starts the installation process. It sounds to me like either the install failed quite badly (normally if install fails, it just reverts and has to try again) or the whole...

    Home Assistant Automations

Weird, I haven't seen that one. What is the exact value when it's insanely high? It should tell you if you hover (or tap-and-hold on a phone) over one of the spikes

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

I think you misunderstood some things in my reply. First of all, I'm not dismissing you, just trying to get to the bottom of the difference since I've been driving in 0-50ºF winters for three years now and it's been the same experience (noticeably limited regen) each year, consistently, every...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

Is your Tesla in a garage overnight? Do you precondition it, charge it in the morning before you leave, or anything like that which may pre-heat the battery? Keep in mind it's not the outdoor temperature that does it, it's the battery temperature. Takes hours of idle time in ambient cold to...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

It does. The Charge/Power meter in the dashboard also shows the current regen capacity.

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

Yup, I won't be so bold as to say you're all wrong, there are like 7 different types of battery used in the different Lucids with different chemistry which could have different regen behavior. It just struck me as quite a coincidence that this came up right as much of North America started to...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

It's closer than you'd think. Regen in my AT can easily produce upwards of 80kW. You'll never see 350kW in the real world no, but it's significantly more power than even the 80A Lucid EVSE (80A * 240V = 19.2kW). It just doesn't usually last long. But the peak is exactly what you'd be talking...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

It absolutely happens with Teslas and every other EV, though the temperature at which it becomes noticeable will vary with the specific battery chemistry and charger. For the same reason you precondition your battery prior to fast charging, a cold battery cannot physically accept as much power...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

I don't think that's quite right. There's no "engaging" in using regen, no moving pieces or anything like that, it's mechanically very simple. I think the case where no-regen can be more efficient than regen is in comparison to not braking, rather than in comparison to friction brakes. Regen...

Wanted One 21" Aero Blade Wheel

I was just about to update - forgot (again) they're not the same size. It's a front I'm looking for.

Wanted One 21" Aero Blade Wheel

I have one busted 21" wheel I need to replace before my lease ends in a few months. I understand most would prefer to sell a whole set, but if anybody has a single 21" aero blade wheel (+tire optionally) in good shape they're willing to part with for less than Lucid will charge new, I'm...
