    Must have Lucid Air accessories

Good catch! The trunk well liner too! Wouldn't want two gallons of milk spilling into the high voltage battery pack, no less stinking up the car to high heaven. (Happened with my Lexus when we forgot a gallon of milk in the trunk on a 110 degree Arizona day. Found it two or three days later...

TWRAPS' MagSafe Compatible Dual Wireless Charger is the best accessory I've bought...

A suggestion for the Mods... Add a 'Not-On-Topic' emoji...

You raise a valid point, but I think your proposal would put an unfair burden on the replying person to search for an appropriate thread for the errant post, while the emoji is essentially asking the errant poster to find what they think is an appropriate place for their own post. Also, a reply...

Hey, @BrianBigNFun! Thanks for coming up with a perfectly great illustration of what I was talking about, and a hilarious read to boot. Much appreciated!

Ha! High praise coming from you, @borski! :-)

A suggestion for the Mods... Add a 'Not-On-Topic' emoji...

I see many threads quickly spiral 'off-topic' following a comment that is well-intended, but irrelevant to the discussion at hand. These are often quite useful comments in the right place, such as either a new thread or a more closely-aligned existing thread. Not only does the original...

An Air UX 3.x Question for you Software Pros...

These comments are all very worthy of discussion, but frankly not 'on topic' for this thread. As the OP, I would much appreciate it if you would consider continuing them either on a new thread or an appropriate existing thread. Thanks!

    Air Version 2.8.30

You mean like... "CAUTION! HOBO AHEAD!"? I hate it when that pops up on the screen!

    Air Version 2.8.30

If it has anything at all to do with a software fix, I would think it was much more likely correcting a miles/kWh calculation error than a real change to your vehicle's performance.

    Air Version 2.8.30

FWIW... It would be far more helpful to the forum members if you would create a new thread about this trunk latch issue instead of having it buried in this software thread.

    Air Version 2.8.30

Are lots of people getting 2.8.30? I normally would have an update by now, but nothing so far.

    Sapphire style Spoiler?

Color me pessimistic. Rolled-up unpainted polyurethane foam in a box? Damn the expense! I think stiff carbon fiber is the way to go.

An Air UX 3.x Question for you Software Pros...

I understand why it makes total sense to get the Air on the new platform in order to to ease the burden of implementing at least some future improvements and performance tweaks across Lucid's entire product portfolio. My question is about how disruptive the initial platform change might be. As...

    Air Version 2.8.30

As @Bobby said, these always take a while to roll out, and a week or more is not uncommon. Also, I park in a garage with dedicated wifi and a decent cell signal, and I most often get my updates when I am out and about. If you are driving your car regularly, I suggest you don't leave it out in...

    Air Version 2.8.30

Nice! I hope that 'reduction of unnecessary warnings' includes dialing back DDP 'eyes on' sensitivity to a safe but more tolerable level. That's the one improvement I requested via the new software issue reporting system, and I doubt I was alone.

Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

All good points above, and I don't think inconsistent with my earlier comments. While speaking only for myself, I would be satisfied if Lucid would push eyes-on hands-free as far as they reasonably could, throw in the towel on anything eyes-off, and issue some reasonable compensation for the...

Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

A very reasonable hypothesis, and if correct, one wherein Lucid should be asking themselves just what they CAN do incrementally at a reasonable cost, and then figuring out, as an ethical company, what they MUST do to at compensate DDP buyers for any remaining shortfall. And now, back to hearing...

Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

And let's not forget that the 'keep the promise' bar goes up when it's a 'paid for' line item upgrade. And for the revisionists out there, Lucid has absolutely NOT met the $9k DDP expectations set when I bought my Pure AWD, although I was never really holding my breath for 'eyes off' driving...

Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

As we were both approaching our mid-70s when we bought our Air, the promised capabilities of DDP were THE deciding factor for us... We tend to keep and care for our vehicles for as long as they are reliable, and we figured that DDP would be an effective bit of backup toward keeping up safely on...

    Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

Sorry, but there's really no temperature here. A little frustration perhaps, but this debate is going nowhere, so I'll stay out of it from here on out. My apologies if I upset or offended anyone.
