Hey, Marqie! Just one look was all it took. And about a ten minute test drive. About the least researched and yet best purchase decisions I've ever made. Well into my third year, and loving it.

I suppose it's best that we agree to disagree on the finer points, although I'll concede the difficulty of ever making some people on the forum happy. That said, some others on the forum will defend Lucid at every turn. I, like you and most others, try to take a more balanced approach.

I'm pretty sure that sound accounting practices would have Lucid booking the cost of referral point redemptions as they are incurred, so spending them would just be a balance sheet entry against already accrued expenses. Your 'overworked service' argument does hold water, although I'm not sure...

I think we can count on both the part and labor being offered in the Referral Store. Lucid management figured out a way to do it on the $$$ store, and the operational processes and accounting logic should be the same for the Referral Store, albeit with a little jiggering for the points conversions.

I just got my recall notice yesterday. It says the target vehicles are certain 2022-2026 Air models equipped with DreamDrive Pro (AD02) and operating on OTA update 2.8.0 through 2.8.16. The fix is to update to 2.8.17. Hope this helps.
