You're not wrong, and your opinion is valuable. That said, I hope we can move past this back-and-forth discussion about what they should've done. This thread is supposed to be about the 3.5 software update, which literally isn't in any cars yet, and yet the discussion has exploded to nine pages...

I discussed this very question with Lucid executives in the past. They simply don't believe in it. They say that it reduces braking feel. Therefore I very much doubt we will see it in a Lucid in the future. I did have this type of braking in my Jaguar I-Pace, and I thought it worked quite well.

We did have it happen once or twice before where their servers went down and everything was fine a few hours later.

It’s going to be in the 90s here in San Diego this week! As a Lucid old timer, I can tell you that they are not the best with exactly meeting their self-imposed deadlines. I wish they would be better, and I find it frustrating. But sometimes we just need to step back and wait a week or two.

Did you try the usual fixes? Force quit the app? Restart your phone? Delete the app and reload it?

I get the frustration. Missing a self-imposed deadline from an Investor Conference isn’t a great look for credibility. But once an official announcement is made, they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place. They likely found a late-stage bug, and with vehicle software, 'shipping it broken'...

Well, it's too late to call today, but if it's still a problem tomorrow I would imagine that it's time to contact service. Haven't seen this particular problem in quite a long while. Could possibly be a hardware issue.

There's no such thing as a nuke reset anymore, that's just considered a normal reset. But that resets infotainment only. I'm not sure if the cameras are included in that in every case. You may be better off just walking away from the car and letting it sleep for a little while and then going...
