I'm not sure. I can tether my laptop to my phone with wireless CarPlay running, but I'm not sure if you can have the car connected to the phone while the phone is connected to the car... Certainly you could still do wired CarPlay.

I'm confused, what's stopping you from doing that now? Lucids can connect to WiFi, just make a hotspot from your phone.

That's not an option at the moment. Your account is tied to your specific VIN(s), and it won't sync to another car. Most of the settings aren't saved to the cloud either, for now.

For what it's worth, I ditched my Ray-Bans for Serengeti. Still polarized, better quality, and for whatever reason the eye tracking in the Air has no trouble seeing through them. I think the same goes for Maui Jims.
