    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

As I've already mentioned, my 2018 Model 3's software was initially terrible. Few features, very rough ADAS, and it needed rebooting approximately daily. This was six years after Tesla delivered their first Model S cars. My Air's software was better than that, and Gravity's is far better. It's...

2 signs popped up while I was driving and the car stopped.

That's unfortunate. Hope they can fix it quickly - or at least get that loaner to you.

    Spotify Issues?

I've just been manually stopping Android Auto most of the time I get in to drive the car. Guess I could go the plug-in route too - that'd keep the car from taking my phone's wifi connection every time I unlock it.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

Tesla's single-screen software was terrible in 2018, when I bought my Model 3. It may be helpful but not sufficient.

    Spotify Issues?

The first symptom sounds like the problem that Spotify just fixed a day or so ago. The second symptom could be poor cell reception in the car, or another Spotify stream being started on another device. I learned about Spotify's one-stream limitation when I was trying to play Spotify in the car...

2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring - "new" to me

    Looks great! Congrats.

    Spotify Issues?

Spotify limits you to one stream per account. If you start another stream, the first will stop. This particular behavior is Spotify, not Lucid.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

It's interesting that this thread is more about FSD than is Kim's video, and also more about FSD than it is about Kim's video. Whatever the state of FSD now, it does look to be the #1 future feature in automotive functionality and competition. I love driving, but have spent several hours...

Where is UX 3.0 for the Air?

You can sign up for the Polestar V2H beta, along with the EX90, with dcbel.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

I'm guessing she'll be fine... because my car has been fine. Also, she doesn't seem to be the type to go looking for problems and then shrilly harp on them.

    Outlet power draw

Could it be that the Bouge app doesn't include the battery charging power? In general, an AC power brick will be about 80-90% efficient depending on load and how much expense was put onto it.

Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

I was just reacting to your statement that "Other EV manufactures are much more realistic in their interpretation of the EPA tests and inform their perspective buyers." That's not exactly true, including some of Lucid's most notable competitors.

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

Lucid vehicles do not have a programmable charging stop time, unfortunately.

Wow, we've beat this to death. From Consumer Reports:

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

I also have an Enphase IQ 2 working well, charging with only excess solar, and am looking forward to installing Enphase's new DC bidirectional charger in the other garage bay when it becomes available. My thought is that I'll have both AC and DC bidirectional capability if/when it ships.

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

The car will limit its charging current to the maximum set by the charging adapter - you don't need to reduce the car's charging current to match. You could leave the car set at 80 amps and it won't exceed the mobile charging adapter's 40 amp capability. This is a key function of how the...

Knock Knock, Lucid… It’s the Air Owners. Remember Us? 😂

The changes needed for Air to use a NACS port, and charge at 225+ kW on a 400V Tesla supercharger, go well beyond sheet metal modifications. Basically, the Air would have to be reengineered to take Gravity's Rear Drive Unit, possibly also affecting the rear trunk design and the car's thermal...
