Motor intelligence reported April sales of 290 cars and 550 truck sales (840 total) for Lucid in the US. Lucid consistently pushes back on these figures as incorrect. Based on last quarter numbers I’d estimate the real figure is between 1200-1500.

“The dilution is done”… for now. We’ll see another dilution round late summer or fall to support the midsize release. My prediction is Lucid trades sideways until December then trends up when midsize production & delivery announcements take place. I’m going to DCA along the way.

In all seriousness, Lucid has a 135k order backlog to fulfill. I’m an investor and not concerned about the longevity of the company. However, the mid-size launch is crucial and if they repeat the same mistakes with that launch, that may be the final nail in the coffin.

Talk about getting hit hard with depreciation on both ends…

Did anyone else see that today Lucid produced its 50,000th vehicle? Pretty sweet milestone. Not to mention they’ve built 2,023 vehicles in the first 17 days of this quarter.

I agree. Lucid needs execution, not hype. Hype moved the stock back in 2021, but much less so today. Investors want to see execution and better financial results. Until then, the stock will trade sideways or continue in a downward trend.

May have already been mentioned but in a recent LinkedIn post by EV, Lucid confirmed with a comment that Gravity HFDA is on track for Q2 as stated at investor day. The configurator has been updated to reflect this.

I’m convinced the Lucid Marketing team just picked their favorite responses from this forum.

It would be cool if they show a promotional video of midsize during the event then release it on social media like they’ve done for the air & gravity. However I’d expect they’ll do a future promotional event at the factory unveiling the vehicle for reviewers to look at in person.

It would make most sense they’ve paused new orders until the 2nd row seat issue is resolved. Perhaps for enough new parts to arrive. They did the same with the HUD component for the tech package last year.

Lucid is now offering 0% financing OAC for 60 months on both Touring and GT trims. The lease deals look pretty sweet too as we near end of the quarter.

Assuming they have sales to match with production, I estimate they hit 30k. Knowing that Gravity will make up a bulk of their sales and with the recent pause in deliveries due to the seat issue makes me consider this a reason for the conservative range.

Pure speculation but they could be beginning early re-tooling in preparation for the mid-size. I heard they recently built production prototypes that will likely be shown at the March 12th Investor day.

For the first time, I happened to see two Gravity’s in the same day in Gilbert and Phoenix. One was black/stealth and the other grey/stealth. After seeing dozens come through the service center I hope to find many more!

The difference likely include vehicles in transit to KSA as recent flyovers showed many cars sitting outside the SKD building at AMP-1.

There was a rumor circulating on Twitter from an internal source that the 18k production goal was hit on December 16th. I’m hopeful this is true and that they exceeded this by a good margin through year end.
