Just had my Air's CCC module upgraded to v2, and it went flawlessly. Whole UX feels just a tiny bit snappier. And I'm ready for 3.0 when it comes. No bugs or issues with 2.9.0.

Finally got my car updated, and all is good. Mine happened to coincide with doing my CCCv2 update, however, so I had to do a full manual restore of all my profile stuff, Bluetooth devices, settings, etc. So if any of that stuff would have been borked by the update process, I wouldn’t know.

Because the car has no idea it’s in a borked state. This can happen after any reboot. Not just when the car is updated. And I never claimed it was a new observation. Just that it was one folks clearly still don’t get, judging by the posts in this thread.

I wonder how many fewer posts we'd have on our forum if most people would perform a reset as a first-step before coming here to talk about issues with a new update? I'm not saying that to be a wise guy. It's just whenever I run into a software bug like the many reported here for...

I would not expect major changes to Air in the 2027 model year. I wish they’d do a major hardware refresh, but it’s doubtful at this point, while they are still busy getting Cosmos and Earth prepped for launch.

Until someone makes a smaller sedan in Air’s class of luxury and driving feel, I’m pretty stuck with Lucid. If Lucid wants to make that car, I’m all ears, too, Lucid. Gun to my head, have to pick something, I’d get a used newer year with improved range Taycan.

Of course, that doesn't help you if you have mileage overages.

Another thing to consider, if you can't get a good price for the buyout, is searching Lucid's pre-owned cars. I've found some pretty decent deals on cars that were better than what my residual would be at the end of my lease.
