Surprisingly, I’ve noticed no range hit at all. Have left them on for anywhere from city driving to 2k mile road trips.

I think the rack is rated to carry an ebike load, but I could be wrong.

Noticeably more wind noise at high speeds. Reasonably easy to install and de-install but still require basic tools.

Remember to paint the inner cylinder part (not sure what it’s actually called) with some corrosion resistant high heat ceramic paint or else an unsightly rust ring might develop and be visible through the skinny spokes 👍🏼

I’m in camp ‘love the whine’. For some reason, makes me feel like I’m driving something intentionally rather than being teleported as a passive passenger. However, if I were a passenger in the car, then I would probably prefer dead silence for a more luxurious experience. Contradictory perhaps 🤷🏼‍♂️

@hydbob My solar panel ‘install’ was basically me finding the largest single panel that could fit on the back shelf behind the rear seat headrests and then connecting it to a power bank designed to also act as a solar generator via a simple DC adapter cord. Minimal real install required lol...

For sound quality, is that previous problem with the front woofers fixed in all current models? That makes a huge difference especially when listening to music in the front seats.
