Adding to my comment above: At the end of this tutorial they list various pre-made cables for sale. You have to know the voltage and plug type your device needs. That is where I bought my cable. There are also several types for sale on Amazon, but I can't vouch for them. On the other hand...

Bob: On your loaner AIR, my guess is that you had auto-unlock turned on. In my case that would trigger many times a day as I work in my garage workshop. It would also eat the FOB battery in a month or two.

Amen! I have used work-arounds to make peace with my 2025 Air Pure's locking/unlocking system, but the fact remains that my wife's old Lexus, or my 2010 Infiniti, or the Econocar I rent at the airport works much better.

I never ever use my phone. I use my key fob 100% of the time, and have put it in a cheap fake leather case with a larger battery that has now lasted many months. The door handle press method works about 50% of the time. Pressing the key fob button works the other 50%, so I am never locked out...

The trunk mount would have worked well also, but I had other needs for the 12V up front, and did not want to run speaker and conrol cables to the rear. Instead, I had to run 12V and antenna to the rear.

Installation is not that hard. It was easy to run and hide a thick (for the 10A current) 12V cable from the trunk to the front. Steve K2PBO
