I was walking back to my car from the grocery store and saw another GT parked a few spaces over. I stop at my car to unload and a guy walking behind me asks "How do you like it?" as he's walking to the other Lucid. :)

The passive lock/unlock is good. Although I would be happier with geolocation based passive lock/unlock. The only time I care that it does this is at home.

I'm currently constantly refreshing the R1 shop on the Rivian site to hopefully get our R1S a few months early. They'll be giving the adapter to everybody starting in Q124 and I don't care if the port is CCS or NACS.

I think we're saying the same thing but missing each other. :) Tesla could sell a NACS (female port) to CCS (Male Port) that is registered with them with automatic billing and they would be sold out for the foreseeable future. They don't exist for L3 charging yet.

Not for L3 charging that I've seen. Tesla sells their CCS1 to NACS adapter for $250, so something similar to that.

I would love to have a CCS1 to NACS adapter with its own serial number/certificate/whatever is needed to authenticate to the system for back end billing so it can be swapped from car to car. It would need to be around 5 feet long to extend cables as needed. Is there a reason that can't happen?

I imagine they would be similar to CCS1 high voltage cables. When you increase voltage, you need fewer amps to reach the same wattage. Higher amps = thicker cables. That's one of the benefits of the high voltage battery packs, you can use thinner wires.

According to Kyle at OutofSpec, the V3 superchargers actually have 1000v bus bars and could be configured for higher voltage with a few changes (around 1 day of downtime per site). He thinks they'll do it because it would open up their chargers to other high volume platforms like KIA/Hyundai...

Since you're in AZ, I assume you would notice if the AC stopped working... that's the main thing I would be afraid of.

I had (and still have) this. It's a rubber flap vibrating in the wind in the air channels in the hood. First they couldn't recreate it, then I sent them a video of the sound and was able to recreate it with a leaf blower. They came out and glued some plastic pieces that are supposed to keep...
