Lucid took off my newest tire and had it rebalanced, thinking the tire shop messed up. They didn't check my older one as far as I know. Would the wheel cover being on when balanced make a difference? I took them all off first thing after buying the 19" set.

It's such a low hum that it's hard to catch on video. I might attach a gopro under the car again to see if I can catch it that way. It was very clear when vibrating vent flaps was the problem, which the techs couldn't recreate either before a video.

I have the same thing starting at 50 mph, but increasing after that. It's been in the shop 4 times (not just for this, but one of thing things on the list) and they can't seem to track it down. I even did a ride along with one of the techs, but the highway we were on was too loud otherwise to...

Back when they had it, the Lucid was usually hamstrung by Signet Surge. Then again, the Cayman would likely have the same problem.

I'm pretty sure it I don't think Lucid does any of that yet, unless something changed very recently.

We'll never beat the charging curve of a Taycan.. it's something Porsche REALLY focused on and they overbuilt the cooling system to make sure temps stay low.

If you have the roof and location for it, solar + battery backup can be a good fit, but more expensive than a gas generator. The upside is it can pay for itself over time.

One thing I don't understand is the Lucid charger doesn't have a neutral.. I'm pretty sure that would be required for V2H to work. Someone with better electrical engineering skills can tell me I'm wrong. :)

I was doing a test ride with a tech to point out a noise (unrelated to the steering wheel) last week and he noticed the creak and just said "I'll fix that real quick before you get your car back", and he did. I never even complained about it since it didn't happen often. Great service as always!

I'm in the same situation as you, brand new battery and it lists 108.3kWh. I didn't check before the battery replacement tho.

I haven't been told to buy a faraday pouch by Lucid, but if they did I would laugh at them. That's an unacceptable workaround for a poorly designed entry system. I love my car, but "use a faraday pouch to store your key" is ridiculous.

March of 2022, but I don't think it's a batch problem. 8 days so far, they dropped off a Zenith Red GT loaner.

I got a call about this on my 2022 GT with 15k miles. They replaced the battery and I should get it back this week. It happens, and it's better than not knowing and ending up stranded.
