I think the value proposition of the Gravity DE is fantastic compared to the Cayenne, and the same is true of the GT-S. The Cayenne is a low volume vehicle, of course, but if Lucid steals away a few of Porche's sales, good for them.

I'd start by insistently asking them to provide an equivalent loaner vehicle. If they did that, then while perhaps not happy, I'd accept the situation.

I get a vibe that there are reviewers who are really enthusiastic about Lucid's engineering who decided to give them some breathing space to improve the Gravity, rather than publishing a review where they'd feel obligated to talk about all the flaws.

It's entirely possible that a year ago they thought they'd release a production vehicle if the concept car got a good reception, but then the botched Gravity launch caught up with them and so their plans changed and now they're just trying to keep the company afloat until they can launch Cosmos.
