The whole point of this upgrade is to bring the older models up to the same level of performance within that particular system as the newer models. You have a '25...that's about as new as it gets.

Got my car back from service yesterday....so of COURSE the announcement comes out today! In any case, this is terrific news and allows the older models to keep up, presumably, with all the upgrades that become available for more recent models. Congrats to Lucid, this is a big win!

Nope, it's based on actual deceleration. The lighting kicks in once you cross a specific threshold. You can see this in action clearly on the drive assist screen (when it's armed but not actively engaged).
