Update, completed a 3hr charge today, zero issues, max rate the whole time. Also confirmed the charging session starts noticeably faster with rev 3 of the charger compared to rev 2, typically within 10-15 secs of plugging in. This is with WIFI enabled and working on the LCHCS, too.

I lost HFDA and DA for a little while after the upgrade (never AC, though). It did come back after a couple of deep sleeps, or a couple of freeway visits later (I can't tell which of the two did the trick).

There are always a few for sale (usually from people who purchased with referral points), that's better value for money. One reason they're so expensive is that they support up to 80A charging whereas most other chargers are capped at 40A. Doesn't matter for overnight charging...matters a great...
