I don’t often quote myself, but I’m here to agree with my August self! 😂 It’s confirmed, the Gravity price model takes dead aim at Rivian and the competition is going to be great for the consumer. I would not be surprised if Rivian decides to roll out CarPlay, which is a big plus for Lucid.

I’ll bet you a shiny nickel that it is a touch sensor, rather than torque for HA. I can’t imagine Lucid would repeat the torque mistake.

Of course I would like to see it for free, but I don’t know if that is realistic. If this happens, I believe that they will be reasonable about a hardware upgrade. It’s Lucid’s first test to see how they will handle functional obsolescence. It’s not in their interest to isolate existing owners...

I’ll be surprise if the Lucid fleet doesn’t get it before the first Gravity is delivered. Lucid has one of the most beautiful platforms to highlight CarPlay’s capabilities and if I was a decision maker at Apple, I would want to see it unveiled through Lucid earlier rather than later.

I’m really surprised that there was no mention of new DD Pro features. Did they do the “future ready” thing again?
