Just to circle back on this issue...one more data point: service instructed me to do the factory reset. I did it and it did indeed revert to 1.1.4. They then pushed 2.8.7 to me shortly thereafter. Was a single 90 min or so update and it was back to normal again.

A factory reset is what I would normally default to when selling a car to someone else. I am glad I saw this post. Is there a better method for removing/resetting profiles etc. for a new owner? (I looked but didn't see a post answering that. Apologies if there is one.)

I got the upgrade just today. I was on back order for a bit. I don’t think anything is on hold…the tech I worked with mentioned he had a fair amount of folks that wanted these, just not enough hardware yet to to do them all.

I was unfortunately driving at the time of the massive haboob (dust storm) in Arizona a couple days ago. It happened so quickly, there was no chance to try to shut the car down. When it came around I shut off my AC thinking I might be able to avoid the car sucking in more of the dust cloud...

I have this same issue occasionally. But I am still on CCCv1. It isn't a lot--but it happens once every 20-30 times I go to drive. CCCv2 upgrade scheduled a week from now, though I suspect it isn't related but I can update if I notice any difference once done.

That's so weird. I switched to Travelers (from Acuity) in November 2024 and it was no problem.

They likely have enough data at this point to determine how much they'd have to price the ESA at to make it profitable for themselves. There is a price. Whether it is something many of us would pay is another question. But there is a price.

I have Travelers on my Lucid (also in Scottsdale). I wonder if at renewal they'll not want me anymore. I am my own agent and haven't heard that Travelers avoids Lucids (yet), but certainly it is possible they're going that route.

Odd. My calls when on Carplay are infinitely better (and perfectly normal) than on regular bluetooth in the car (unusable).

I think ASAP get a suction vacuum in there to try to physically remove as much as possible, even before spraying anything on it. Once you spray anything, things will seep further down.

This is what I happen to do for a living (in part). Which insurance company are you dealing with? Most all of them use third-party companies that provide reports on the ACV of other cars on the market/prior sales...have they provided you with any such reports? I am particularly interested...
