Thinking about getting a car box to enable video playback on the screen. Anyone have any luck with them on the Lucid Air? I’m looking at the Elite Car Box 4.0 or the Bruxe R6, but not sure if they’re compatible.

Because of Apple allowing AirPlay in iOS 26? I’m on Beta 3 and it’s definitely not activated yet. And it sounds like the carmakers will have to activate function, so it may be a long wait.

Really glad you helped me figure it out before I got stuck at a supercharger that didn’t work! Never occurred to me that the ones I tested the adapter on had magic docks, so they’ll work on any car

It might just be the screen protector I put on the pilot panel 🤷‍♂️ Either way, I’m getting the new chip. Definitely excited about eliminating the lag time on maps and music

My issue isn’t just a slow processor, but often I have to press the touch screen 3 or 4 times for something to actually select (like a radio station or folding the mirrors in) Do you have those issues with the newer chip?

I humbly admit I was wrong 😑 The superchargers I had successfully used were outfitted with magic docks (even though I used my adapter instead) I tried it at a V3 supercharger today with no magic docks and got the same result you did Bummer 😞

I wonder if this fixes the 2.7.0 bug that causes the system to reboot so often when you get into the car. Started happening for me after 2.7.0

The adapter might have worked for me because the SC locations I used have magic docks too. I need to test it at a non-magic dock site. Maybe they’re not open to the Air yet

Hmmm that could be it. I think the ones I’ve used the Lectron adapter at might be open to everyone because of the Magic Dock (even though I didn’t use the dock; I used the adapter) I’ll have to test in at a site without magic docks and see if the adapter works there 🤔

And as I stated, I drive an Air Grand Touring. You don’t have to believe me, but it does work with the Lectron NACS/CCS adapter and has for at least a month

I’ve had full SC access on my 2022 AGT for over a month with the Lectron adapter. Tesla website clearly states that all V3 and V3.5 superchargers are now open to Lucid

Not true. I have a 2022 AGT and superchargers work for me with the Lectron adapter. I’ve used it at multiple locations, but again, you’re capped at basically 45-50kW. (If you don’t believe me, check the Tesla website. It clearly states lucid is now one of the brands open to SC access)

If you’re in the NYC area, Plainview is taking appointments but doesn’t have the hardware in yet— so they’re making appointments for late August. For now they said it’s only at the service center, but might be offered as a mobile tech visit by then.

Glad to know I’m not the only one with this issue. Seems like only the app Home Screen is frozen; the widget remains connected to the car (shows when it’s charging and the accurate state of charge) and the mobile key still works I reported it to Apple feedback. I’m sure it’ll get fixed in Beta 4
