“Phantom braking”!! I have not experienced that on my 2019 Tesla. I am using it everyday for commuting (93 miles per day) and I loved it a lot. I would say it is super accurate. However, I am not Tesla fan but could not find better EV in 2019 then a Tesla.

Agreed with you. Not to mention about the power consumption of that computer if exists.

I was told the same but unfortunately, it is not true. DD will not have lane centering nor the regular adaptive control.

I already did and contacted my sales representative and all confirmed that DD will not have the highway assist (lane centering) which is a feature of DD Pro. Thanks for the suggestion!

Not really, DD Pro is the Tesla AutoPilot version with no more.

Unfortunately, I disagree with you here. We should be fare, DD Pro is Tesla Free version of AutoPilot and no more. FSD is way advanced than DD Pro. It changes lane for you, drive on navigation. Smart Summon where you can bring the car to you from the parking spot, stops at traffic lights/Stop...

I also have the equivalent of highway assist on my commute car which I use every day. It helps a lot and I see this feature is needed at least for me.

Agreed! As new company, they should attract most of the EV customers in the beginning by beating all other competitors. Their cars look very cool with great potential to be number one selling car.

I might cancel my reservation as well if the highway assist is not a standard feature in the DreamDrive. Not willing to pay $9k or $10 for something other competitors offer it for FREE.

Customers will be looking for the output to compare. Not sure what Lucid called it Dream Drive that does NOT support lane centering and adaptive control like Tesla AutoPilot. I don’t think these basic features require a LiDAR to use. I would pay $10k if they list any similar features to FSD.

I am not sure about the handling statement. Model S has air suspension which is more expensive with auto adjustments. However, I haven’t test a Lucid yet as I am still waiting for my Lucid but scheduled for a test drive next week.

If you want to do apple to apple comparison, Model S dual motors with FREE AutoPilot and glass canopy cost you $105k while the Lucid ground with glass canopy, same amount of speakers and Dream Drive Pro (free version of Tesla AutoPilot) will cost you $126k

Really, I thought they have it. This will be definitely needed.

Not sure if you’ve tried sentry mode but it is one of the best features that Tesla has.
