    Not a winter car?

The AGT front bumper clearance is 7" (I just went out in -7F temps to check that) with 19" wheels; now am I going to want smash down an unplowed road with 12-18" of snow with the car? No, but am I going to run away from a road with 8" of snow? No I am not. But I'm also not going to compare any...

    Not a winter car?

Who tells you these fables? It's like a tracked vehicle on an unplowed road, and it's like any other AWD vehicle in freezing rain.

    Not a winter car?

No, this is my cars third winter and it's outdoors 24/7/365, -3F this morning when I left work. Should be about -10F when I leave tomorrow morning, I ran the car through an automatic wash on the way home this evening to get the salt off; I'll report back if I have any issues.

    Cold weather battery tips

The next two mornings should be interesting, should be about -5F tomorrow and -10F on Tuesday morning. I suppose I should break down in tears about this, if I open the app my car will start charging right away even though I have it scheduled at a later time, the fix is to shut off the charging...

Forget that efficiency, I want to know how long it took for your door handles to flip up..................

Open letter to Lucid after 29 months of ownership

28 months in with my Lucid and quite frankly I am somewhat bemused when I see topics about software, seriously folks?? The AGT is my DD, it's outdoors 24/7/365, it is driven on the cruel expressways and streets of Chicago daily, it goes through automatic car washes a couple of times a week, I...

Would you still buy a Lucid Air living over 600 miles away of a service center?

I just had my wife's F Pace in for it's first yearly service on Tuesday, the W/O says they replaced the cabin air filter and now on a Friday I get the FUD from you.................😅

    I need this charger

Interesting concept, but I'm thinking it's going to have to move around a much heavier cord to be practical.

    Winter Charging an Ungaraged Air

I'm starting this topic to share what I've learned about charging my Lucid when it is going to be outside overnight or for a few days in sub freezing temperatures. First I want to say the updated app has done wonders for knowing what is going on with the cars battery. When temps drop below...

Can you haul a 4'x8' sheet of drywall?

I thought the reason Lucid put tail lights into the rear body below the trunk lip was so the car could haul something with the decklid open, those tail lights being there to be legal to drive with the decklid open.

Real world range touring 19 inch wheels

Great question, before the app update I would just leave the car unplugged overnight so I could pre-condition the battery 30-45 minutes before leaving the house, since the app update the tells the app that it is warming the battery before charging, did it do this before the app update? I don't...

Clicking sound from under the car in cold weather

I remember Dad using a coal shovel filled with charcoal to warm up the oil pan in our 67 Plymouth Fury III station wagon with a 383, and then who can forget that Mopar starter whine 😅 At the 49 second mark for the Mopar whine.

    Unusual regenerative breaking behavior

What state of charge is the battery at when this happens? I ask this because I notice that the regen braking in my car isn't as aggressive as it when temps are above freezing, I attribute this to how the regen gets weaker when the battery is charged above 80% in warmer weather.
