It’s been warming up in NorCal in the 70’s and sunny. When the sun is at the spot above the sun visor on your forehead you feel it. I think the front canopy sunshades will be required at a minimum. The full glass canopy that extends from the windshield up may look good, but it’s a bad functional...
I’m also amazed that people would pay $1200 for the Lucid home charger. Having been a long time Tesla owner I thought $500 for the wall connector was expensive.
If I truly needed 80 amps of charging for an emergency top off, or I forgot to plug in overnight, I’m just going to a DC fast charger...
Maybe it’s just me, but I just plug in overnight and don’t even pay attention to the kW. I still wake up with a charged battery. I’m just using a gen 2 Tesla Wall connector on a 40 amp breaker. So charging at 32 amps, I get 32 miles per hour on the Gravity.
Not having a fob in the first place does make life so much easier. One less thing to not lose or replace the batteries. Sounds like you’ve never experienced a car with PAAK. You’re basing your opinion off your “friend”, not first hand experience.
Your friend waving his phone around? He could...
PAAK is something that all EVs should have, Tesla has perfected this and it makes life so much easier. No more key fobs, you just walk up and the car unlocks, you get in and drive away. When you get out it locks automatically when you walk away. How could anyone think this is a dumb idea. I...
Thanks for taking the hit and trying. I’m interested in what inserts would fit also since I don’t want to pay for Lucid’s overpriced wiper replacements.
I just walked into a showroom to look at a Gravity. They asked if I wanted to test drive one and away I went. It wasn’t that hard. Did your “friend” actually go to the Denver showroom and ask for a test drive?
I like the look/texture of 3D mats, I don’t like their price. I have the cheaper Amazon knockoffs in my Model 3 and Y. There aren’t many options for the Gravity so I may have purchased them, but I didn’t have 2-3 months to wait.
I’m interested in the canopy sunshades, but not at $250 + $25 shipping. I got canopy sunshades for my Teslas for $30, you can’t tell me these are worth $250.
