Update on Our Next OTA Release (post-3.6.0)

Finally got offered the 3.6.3 update this morning. Installing now. Not sure what sequence they push out in, but ours was a December build.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

My delivery specialist was going to through all of that with me, but by the time we coordinated a call I'd figured it all out pretty much on my own. It was pretty intuitive. The keyfob can only have one profile attached to it, which is kind of annoying, but it's easy to change profiles once...

Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

The center console seems a little narrow, but I love the fact that I can comfortably cross my legs in the front passenger seat... so much space.

    Auto Lock

So, I did unlock my Gravity with the key card and just walked away after driving it one time. As I recall, it takes about 8 minutes (?) for it to lock up and go to sleep. You can tap the lock button on the cockpit panel while exiting the vehicle.

Update on Our Next OTA Release (post-3.6.0)

Third row seems to be controlled by what's going on in the 2nd row. Second row can either have a 20+ lb. weight on it or have the seat belt connected (e.g. like with a car seat, new in this release). I don't think you can accomplish that with the 3rd and 2nd rows stored, but I haven't tried...

GT 7 Seater 22/23 vs T 5 Seater 20/21s - The Touring has stolen my heart

I've wondered this for years. In the 90's I used to get rotation and alignment done somewhat regularly. When I later got lazy(er), I didn't really notice any difference in tire wear or tread life. Seems like this might be another thing we still take as common knowledge based on how cars used...

OoS - Kyle Conner Has GGT Long Term Loaner

There are some 3.6.0 issues remaining. Hope they get those ironed out soon.

    Daily Charge

That's the common wisdom for NMC batteries, which Lucid uses. Many short charges are less stressful to the cells than waiting and doing longer ones. That's contrary to how people fill their gas tank, so it may feel weird to plug it when it's still at 70%. The battery has no problem being at...

    I love the steering wheel

I'm unapologetically a fan of the Gravity's steering wheel. I find it very comfortable for 10 & 2 driving. I like how you know where on the wheel your hand is by how it feels. Turns feel fine to me, even 90 degree or more ones. One hand on the corner of the wheel and one sliding along the...

DDPro Hands Free--Won't work w Rear Accessories

You said "mostly one lane roads". I assume you know that hands-free is only available on certain highways. It could entirely be an issue with the obstructed rear camera, but it could also be that you are travelling on a road that doesn't allow hands-free.

    Creep mode default setting?

When the Software Lead was in Charlotte for the Lucid Owners Club two weeks ago I asked him if the SWFeedback alias was still being looked at, now that Emad was gone. He said that they still look at everything that comes in. Agreed, that some kind of response would be nice. Having monitored...

    Gravity Grand Touring Lemon

Got mine in December. Can confirm it opens, starts, and drives every time. I spent 3.5 weeks in the SC for the seatbelt recall, a coolant valve that was throwing errors, and a rear reflector that cracked. Other than that, it's been a dream to drive. Hope they get you sorted out.

    Lucid Cosmos Specifications

Baudette Minnesota... It was in this YouTube video, about 4 months ago. I was impressed with how much effort went into making the Gravity brake well and predictably in three performance modes, with and without traction control. Lucid Gravity Extreme Winter Testing!

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

When I spoke to the software lead in Charlotte I asked about how homelink shows all programmed garage doors when you back out of the garage in the morning and not just the ones close by. He said that it takes a little while for the onboard GPS to get its location for geofencing, so that's...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

The audio occasionally dropping out for several seconds is a new bug for us, since the release of 3.6.0. I'd heard others complaining, but we never had it. Very annoying.

    Lucid Cosmos Specifications

We saw two prototypes driving at the same time in the latest Lucid Flys video. I'd say all the essential hardware stuff is nailed down. Software tuning is probably still happening, as they can adjust a lot of the car behavior through that. We got an insight into that when Kyle Connor rode...

Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

I'm with him on the look of the UI elements. The on-screen visuals generally match the overall aesthetic of the interior, California modern as they say. Some parts need to work better, as you say, but the look of it is quite nice. One part I'd like to look better is the music display. What's...

    Lucid Gravity in the wild

I think it's a very sleek looking sport performance SUV... that just coincidentally appeals to people who are in the market for an electric minivan.

Transporting Multiple Dogs in a Lucid Gravity – Setups & Recommendations?

Kind of interesting that something that would have been an NHTSA recall-worthy issue can now be addressed with an OTA software update. Sounds like a benefit.
