A very frustrated 2026 Lucid Gravity owner journey

Once you've have a bad experience(s) it doesn't leave your memory. And new problems stack upon old problems, even if they've been resolved. Your history forms your impression of the brand. While I've been very fortunate in my ownership experience, others clearly have not. And that's a real...

    Lease Buyout

There are a couple of different options. You can run a VIN check at Goodcar.com. I believe a report is a couple of bucks. Alternatively you can use Auto Check or Car Fax but the cost of those reports is higher. If you recently returned a leased car and want to know where it ended up I would...

McLean VA awful service and I am done with Lucid

If you feel that your investment in Lucid will be undermined by negative posts on this forum then you may want to reconsider your decision to hold Lucid stock and/or whether or not you follow this site. People will respond and react to negative experiences as they see fit. They may be...

    Target $0

The stock price is unlikely to move upwards in the near term given current priorities and market realities. The company has emphasized improving cash flow and cost. Given the interest rate environment and the $2.5B in debt that needs to be serviced that's going to be very difficult. You can...

McLean VA awful service and I am done with Lucid

Nor does a good experience mean that everyone else would have one as well. Experiences will vary as will the reactions to those experiences. Neither are right or wrong. And sharing an experience, good or bad, shouldn't trigger a hostile response and character assassinations. Because I've got...

Vote to bring back old seat belt logo cos new one sucks horribly

If this was done for compliance purposes, which seems to be the case, then it likely reflects the input of various Lucid teams from Legal to Engineering and Software. A combination of what's required, doable, and cost effective. If it checks the box and keeps resources available for more...

McLean VA awful service and I am done with Lucid

Agreed. And the standard is measured against every other car brand and particularly luxury brands. Last week I had an issue with one of my other vehicles. I called on Friday to make an appointment for today. I had no problem in doing so and was provided a loaner. By the end of the day...

    Lease Buyout

If you can't get a discount off of residual, keep track of the VIN and see where the vehicle ends up after going through the auction process. It may end up back in the hands of Lucid or another dealer.

My experience with Lucid Air Pure and Lucid Gravity GT so far and a question

Unfortunately your relationship with Lucid and BOA are not one in the same. And while I don't know the details of your lease, the economics have generally been less than favorable for BOA given where the residual value was set on many of these leases. That's certainly not your problem but may...

Vote to bring back old seat belt logo cos new one sucks horribly

So you're willing to put your warranty at risk and ignore a recall over a seatbelt graphic? I've been running on 2.10 since July and have had no issues. It was several weeks before I even noticed that they changed the seat belt graphic. Somehow I've been able to suppress my rage.

    Chicago Winter Driving

I used to live in Chicago (and at one point Naperville) prior to heading out west. I don't miss winter driving at all. I did own rear wheel drive vehicles over the years and winter driving was always an adventure. I've often wondered how the Lucid would handle the snow given it's heaviness...

    Chicago Winter Driving

The AWD Pure was discontinued after 2023 so if that’s critical to your purchase you’ll either need to buy an older Pure or a newer Touring. You might also want to consider that the heat pump was added to all vehicles in 2025 and that will help with your winter range.

Knock Knock, Lucid… It’s the Air Owners. Remember Us? 😂

The answer is a bit more nuanced. Because even with a NACS port the Air is going to be limited to 50 kW at all Superchargers with the exception of V4. And to solve that problem you either need a lot more V4 cabinets or a major redesign of the Air's 900v architecture.

Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

Imagine the difficulty in manufacturing a car, any car, if you had to be responsive to everyone's individual gripe and perceived shortcoming. I bought my AGT knowing that it had the best range of any large sedan hands down. That hasn't changed. I drive the way I want to drive. Sometimes I...

    Need Help with Lease Anxiety

You have to do whatever makes you comfortable. And for you that sounds like always buying new. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just because something doesn't make sense too me doesn't mean it's the wrong decision for you. I will provide you some additional insight into my thought...

Knock Knock, Lucid… It’s the Air Owners. Remember Us? 😂

And after all that you have to be reasonably confident that you can recoup those engineering costs and grow sales in a declining segment (large sedans). That’s not to say that Air won’t go through a major redesign including NACS, but there are some economic hurdles and market realities to overcome.

    Need Help with Lease Anxiety

If you’re in a position where you have to buy now then your options are probably limited. If you can wait 30-60 days you’ll likely find something that meets your criteria. Lucid leased a large portion of their inventory so used off-lease cars are regularly coming onto the market. Inventory...

Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

Your beef is with the EPA. There’s no reason for Lucid to discard or caveat the agencies results. Personally I’m not bothered by the issue. But I also haven’t been bestowed with the honor of speaking on behalf of actual Americans.

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

I think the first question is whether or not you need the 80A. Your driving habits will likely determine that requirement. If that's not a critical issue then you have a host of options to consider. It is worth checking with your utility to see if rate discounts are available with different...

Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

I guess it's only bad if you were banking on Lucid to buck the trend and become the most successful car brand to never have a marketing plan. It makes all the sense in the world for Lucid to do this particularly as they look to launch a volume vehicle that's tied to the survival of the...
