Any Difference between 2024 and 2025 Sapphire?

...if there is any real difference between the 2024 and 2025 Lucid Air Sapphire? I know that the Lucid Air's received a processor upgrade and heat pump upgrade in 2025. However, my understanding is that the new heat pump was already on the Sapphire. I can't seem to find any documentation on the...

    Replacement mirror cap?

...tinter (also a friend) got distracted and accidentally touched the silver mirror cap and black ring around the outside of the mirror with his heat gun. Now I have a burn in the silver paint and blistered black plastic. The tinter is working on a replacement, but wanted to ask if...

Headlight error, and then the screen starts to blink

Heat related still a problem and need to be taken care of. My problem was not heat-related, and it only resolved after the service replaced the 34" screen unit.

    Thoughts on Air ventilated seats?

...are you normally driving? The Air has suction based ventilated seats, so you don't really feel the air blowing on you, it's in theory to pull heat away from the body. So it does take longer to get that first hit of cooling but maintains better...I generally leave it on 2 but use more HVAC...

    iPhone telephone call horrible sound

I use Siri constantly and have never had to scream over the AC (or road noise, I assume you didn't get the comfort package with the added sound dampening?). That sounds more like there's something wrong with your microphone in the car. My call quality improved greatly after 3.5.0 was released...

    iPhone telephone call horrible sound

...of, “I’m nit sure if you said call sales, or calendar frank” which is it. The only way mine will work when driving or having the fan for heat or air on is the scream at it. “CALL SALLY ON MOBILE” and I get, “Calling sally on mobile” like 80 percent of the time. But it makes no difference...

Is The 2027 Air Announcement Imminent?

...but that wasn't much of a concern. The rest had everything i wanted fir a touring. If they had had a GT i would have gone with it but they only have black, and i can't deal with black in texas. Looks great, but the heat... Car coming from California, might take a few weeks...But i am excited!

Headlight error, and then the screen starts to blink

had this issue after parking in a parking lot out in Kettleman City during 110ºF heatwave last week. After getting on the highway for about 10 minutes, the error went away. I'm pretty sure it was just heat related.

I totally agree with you. I thought I was the only one with this issue. When I set it to Auto it feels like a leaf blower just turned on right at the windshield. Maybe that is not intended or for some reason the system thinks it needs to cool the windshield. When I change it to manual it...

OOS (Out of Spec) initial review of their long term Gravity GT

...better than competitors like the Rivian R1S [13:27]. Cabin Comfort & Climate: The HVAC and Creature Comfort mode work extremely well in 110°F+ heat, keeping the cabin cool and quiet [22:52]. Cabin & Cargo Space: Exceptional interior room and ultra-low loading height via air suspension...

Sorry to hear that but glad to hear u got it resolved. Curious, after you were able to get in touch with Kings how long of a process was it from there?

Some more intel from my testing with AUTO set to ~70. When on AUTO, the front dash area has loud fan noise. However, the dash vent is not active. It seems to be programed to blow the rear seat fans at higher speed and turns down the front seat vents. When I turn off AUTO I observe 3 things: 1)...

    Take Care of Your Windshield!

I had a rock hit my windshield as well, then the heat came and so did the giant spider crack. Took nearly 3 months to get it fixed. The first body shop which was the closet to me was Cranston Collision. They are a mom and pop shop who did nothing but waste my time and kept fighting with me and...

    Keep Mode

...to keep it on. I think our Rivian does too but I don’t drive it enough. I use creature comfort daily for extended periods and it uses very, very little battery even when it’s 100 outside and 72 in the car. Same with the inverse when I have to keep heat on. It’s a great feature on EVs in...

Really good observations. I will have to check the dash vents as the noise we hear could be that. But I also totally agree that the vent placement doesn't reach the driver well enough and gets blocked by the screen. Design flaw IMO and they should update this in future models, although 2027 had...

...cold air deflects off the back lower screen and blasts either my right hand or my right knee with frigid air while my face is warm with radiant heat from above (despite having the shade installed). Once the cabin temp is reduced I'm comfortable but it's overall pretty unsatisfying experience...

New owner - thoughts and experiences

Nothing is lost to heat either way as long as you have regen on (which typically does all the slowing down to the last few MPH). 1PD (HOLD) uses friction brakes for the last few MPH, just like 2PD (CREEP) driving. There's pros and cons to both. Two ways to accomplish the same thing.

...deceleration you like, while converting that forward motion back into electricity to charge your battery. Nothing is lost to friction and waste heat. You'll also get better at inching forward when you want to. In time you might find the idea of a car creeping forward when you are not...

Mmm, you came here to make this one post? Either way, it’s not good to leave everything in the car. Always have a phone, key fob or keycard. You don’t want anyone breaking into your car, right?
