Wife got an R1S. Software envy increased

Not industry wide. Some EVs have super stable software.

    New Bugs Since 3.5.1

You’d probably do okay putting those on BaT and stopping the nonsense. Not sure how you are maintaining any sanity at this point.

Q1 deliveries much worse than expected

Market cap is not what it is worth. That’s just the outstanding shares times the current price - you’d have to deduct debt, which is about $3.2 bil, and add in cash on hand.

Gravity, minivan - tomato, tomahto. 😜

Final Post – Lucid Gravity Order Experience

I’d be curious to know why those LT orders couldn’t be kept open and had to be cancelled this way. This is a decision someone somewhere had to make for some reason.

Q1 deliveries much worse than expected

I totally agree that Lucid has tech and engineering worth acquiring, which is what I predict long term. My forecast is that when the PIF tires of supporting Lucid that they will be acquired by a legacy OEM specifically for their advanced engineering, packaging and efficiency. Maybe Apple...

Final Post – Lucid Gravity Order Experience

I’m sure - I can fail upwards and pocket hundreds of millions in severance pay. I’m uniquely qualified to botch things up, just need to figure out how to get paid to do so.

Without the PIF they would have been Fisker 2.0 by now.

    New Bugs Since 3.5.1

I could be your brother. I had a deposit on an Air GT back in 2023 and the fear of these software frustrations pushed me to Tesla. I was hopeful that improvements would be dramatic and durable, and was trying to talk my wife into considering a Gravity - which would have been a certain divorce...

    2027 Gravity available for order

I had them on a BMW 7 series - they were nice, but I can’t tell you how often someone would partially close the door, and instead of waiting one millisecond for the actuator to work, they would open the door and slam it harder. I think it works best for kids who just don’t get it closed all the...

Final Post – Lucid Gravity Order Experience

Sounds like the timing might work out perfectly to move over to the Cayenne. If you are okay with a little smaller the iX3 looks pretty promising too but no idea how long the wait would be as I understand they have been selling well as far as pre-orders. Lucid can’t get out of their own way...

Camera degradation on both turn signals

Isn’t it just catching a corner of the camera hood (or whatever it’s called)?

    Dangerous situation with frunk open

I admit my mistake - I incorrectly read it as trunk every time, not frunk, and realize how much more serious that would be obviously. My bad.

    Dangerous situation with frunk open

What would the big buck repair be if he just slowed down, pulled over when safe, and closed it? Shutting it all down with no power no matter where you are is way more dangerous than a trunk that isn’t latched and might not even be fully open but just barely unlatched.

    Dangerous situation with frunk open

Why does an open trunk completely cut power instead of telling you to pull over?

Lucid Quietly Introduces Zenith Red Gravity - April Fools

I like it - but it definitely looks very purple in several of those pics.
