New software update for Gravity - 3.5

BTW - has anyone considered the “issues” with the update may be non CP/AA related? They probably have other parts to the update and it could very well be those are causing issues as I hope/think CP/AA may be fairly straightforward.

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

No. That post was from 3/11. Lucid knows your email and will keep you posted. Also, they don’t usually send emails about updates. 3.5 is/was different because it’s supposed to being CP/AA so they were making a big deal out of it. Otherwise, the forum or lucid tracker app are best way to keep...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Same here. Luckily, most of the “your car is about to explode” errors just go away. I guess that’s comforting….🤷

Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

New one. Been a longtime. I like the ability to fold just second row middle down as a pass through for skis, 2x4s, etc. Not unique, but helpful.

    Gravity hands-free driving “weeks away”?

The did say somewhere in the investor day stuff that it would be Q2 2026. That said, they don’t have a great track record as it relates to hitting deadlines. As with all feature updates - it will come when it comes.

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Overall issue is they ”promised” a lot at launch and now have a good amount of catching up. My sense is they know via surveys and sales what owners want and are prioritizing those features to the extent they can. I think PaaK is an exception for whatever technical reason. I agree the HUD...

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Ummmm. That’s a whole different thread if you want to watch Netflix while driving….it is not just looking down that would be distracting….

So, Feb 19, that was like 100 pages ago, right? 😆

Lucid CEO Says Gravity Hands-Free Driving Is ‘Few Weeks Away’ After Delay

It’s the equivalent of one week on Venus.

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Here’s what I don’t get about it not providing SOC. If TONS of info is actually available - via Home Assistant integrations per others here - why not give it to those of us who don’t want to set up our own HA servers and instances?

Lucid CEO Says Gravity Hands-Free Driving Is ‘Few Weeks Away’ After Delay

“A few weeks” means Q2 at best. I think Q2 is what they said during the presentation anyway. When do they plan to on having the frunk open with one button press? That would be an amazing feature! 😏 That and squeak-free second row are really top features for most EVs nowadays…

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Agreed. I put the chances at 0% for anything other than “basic” CP and AA. They want the money for video subscriptions and even though they’ll have to pay to code it, there just aren’t that many people saying “unless I can watch Netflix while waiting for my car to charge, I am not buying X...

    Lunar Titanium Availability?

Not much, probably. I personally don’t think demand is especially strong for $100,000+ EVs. They just need enough to get to mid size ASAP.

    Lunar Titanium Availability?

By the way, that’s kind of what I did for my delivery. It was in Philly at KOP and I paid $70 for a train ticket and $25 for an uber to come from DC, take delivery and drive it back versus a) waiting for weeks and b) paying $2,000+ at the time.

    Lunar Titanium Availability?

Things that add up but are small - like a new front center console (we know this exists already), etc are what I expect. As well, simplification of packages would be great. For example, it’s an electric car, just include the “power package” for all cars…

    Lunar Titanium Availability?

$4,000 is crazy. What if it’s a nearby sc? It used to vary. Either way, Lucid must know they’re fine losing all or 50% or some number of the LT reservations. Sorry for the LT folks, but I expect it was a well informed decision by Lucid. Ultimately, they really need to focus on mid size.

My dynamic range is really low

3.6 for 500 miles is insane!! Is that all downhill? 🤣

Is that where the “Gravity” wording is? Someone else mentioned Lucid was checking there as some were falling off…

    Gravity Crossbars

    No. Mine are “original” design.

    Gravity Crossbars

Zero. I’ve had mine on for months in various conditions and was able to compare to identical trips I’d taken before install. Obviously, weather varies a bit, but seriously, no noticeable difference.
