    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I have a mobile tech coming tomorrow to address the second row seat squeak and reprogram my key fobs. I can let you know if he is actually able to do that.

I also had a 2016 P90D Model X that required a rear drive unit replacement. That was only one of three power train failures on that car. Gravity with one failure is more reliable and I trust it will stay that way.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

My second row seat squeak is back after being addressed at the service center. I can minimize the squeak by leaving the second row folded flat, but that doesn't completely eliminate it. Has anyone had this fixed and had the fix last more than a week? I've had it fixed twice and neither fix...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Unfortunately, they did not. The replacement was prompted by a cascade of errors including one about reduced power being available. I then noticed hesitation when accelerating from a stop and that concerned the field escalation team enough that they insisted on replacing it. It wasn't obvious...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I also had a rear drive unit replaced on my GDE. While I wasn't thrilled about this, I was happy with how Lucid arranged to have the car transported 150 miles to the nearest service center in an enclosed truck and then worked to get it back to me before a weekend where I needed it.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Brilliant observation! You are quite correct: I just tested this and ended up with the Guest profile. Now that I know the app is responsible I know to switch back to my profile whenever I have to use it to unlock the car. Thank you.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I've had this happen when for some reason Gravity randomly selected the guest profile. This has happened even when the key fob was recognized (I did not use the key card). Switching to my profile (why does switching take so long?) restores all of my settings as one would expect.

    What would you change?

I think the reason why it continues to elude me is that my hands are always full when I'm about to leave: briefcase, coffee mug and/or water bottle, etc. So, getting one hand free to unplug on my way to the drivers door is hard enough, once I'm holding the charge cable I definitely don't have a...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I had the dreaded second row seat squeak and mobile service was able to fix it today. We took two test drives with the seats in various states of disassembly for him to narrow down where the squeak came from. He was able to fix it by replacing a zip tie and using some substitute felt tape. I...

    What would you change?

I'd motorize the charge port door so it can auto-close. I suspect this seems dumb, but as a 10 year Tesla driver the hardest thing to get used to is having to manually close the charge port door. It seems like I have to stop the car, get out and push the charge port door closed about half of...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I have a rattle from the second row seats as well and it has become really annoying because our roads are quite rough (only makes noise on rough roads). The rattle went away for a drive once I lowered the second row seats, but has since come back regardless of how I position the seats. If...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Interesting, I just washed my Gravity and found this trim piece partially dislodged (the end closest to the rear of the car had popped out). However, I've used the frunk before and swear that it wasn't like that previously. With respect to washing the car, you think you are all done and then...

    Gravity software updates

I was offered this update a bit more than an hour ago and it installed in just under 30 minutes. The only difference I see is that the four labels that were missing from the four tabs in the charging screen are now drawn. I am disappointed at how vague the release notes are. I've provided...

    HUD position adjustable?

The HUD in my Gravity DE is out of focus when I am seated comfortably. If I scrunch down then I can get it in focus, but the position required isn't viable for long term use. Page 75 of my Gravity manual states "You can ... manually reposition the display"; however, in the HUD settings all I...

Gravity and Tesla Wall Connector (Gen2 not supported, Gen3 works)

I sure wish I could use my Gen2 Tesla Wall Connector at 80 Amps with Gravity; however, it doesn't work and when I raised it as an issue with my service center they said it wasn't supported. I hope to rotate the configuration dial in the Wall Connector to reduce the maximum Amperage this weekend...

Gravity and Tesla Wall Connector (Gen2 not supported, Gen3 works)

To clarify, I asked my service center why the Gen2 EVSE wasn’t working and they said it wasn’t supported, but the Gen3 should work. This despite the fact that both have the NACS form factor as does my Gravity’s charging port and I thought they all implemented J1772 for signaling. However, some...

    Gravity [Dream Edition] Reservations Tracker

Hi Joe, I'm unable to DM you so am posting here. My Gravity DE order date 12/20/2024, was delivered on June 30th.

Gravity and Tesla Wall Connector (Gen2 not supported, Gen3 works)

I will have to give that a try. Thank you for the link! I can see why "legacy" mode might help, but it is very strange that toggling that and switching to 56 Amps maximum makes it work. My Gen2 Tesla EVSE shares a circuit with another Gen2 so I will need to test to see if this has any impact...

Gravity and Tesla Wall Connector (Gen2 not supported, Gen3 works)

I brought my Gravity DE home and was surprised to encounter charging errors when I plugged it into the Tesla Wall Connectors I have used for my Teslas for years. To make a long story short, Lucid does not support the Tesla 2nd Generation Wall Connector, but does work with the Tesla 3rd...

    Gravity and Wireless CarPlay

My Gravity DE running 3.2.0 does not have CarPlay enabled. I hope it will work wirelessly, but that will only matter once they get the wireless charging pad to work. Until then I need to plug my phone in to charge it.
