    Software Version 1.1.2+

I thought you might be interested that it has taken a while for Lucid to respond to my slow boot video. Answer, “Should get better with updates.” I’m still on 1.0.8.

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

I agree that the linear calculations will certainly have some error. The miles shown is too optimistic for me at all times. I think I'm going to set it for % battery and use these easy multiples for miles. Battery % * 2.0 drive anyway you want Battery % * 3.0 drive "normally" whatever that...

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

Monument Valley can be pretty empty. Had at least one tank with mpg at 8.

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

    Sorry, my mistake, I used 471 from the 19" wheels. 500/520 = .9615 * 451 = 433 if everything is linear.

    Software issues

That really sucks. My car to date has always worked. I may not like elements of the software, but the system has always booted up, and my worst freeze, still allowed me to change screens and continue normal operation. I really hope they can identify the root cause for you and get it fixed.

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

Based on my experience so far which is about the same as @hydbob, I was planning my 2700mi trip with 315 miles for the western portion due to cold, elevation change, the temptation to drive faster, plus having ~10% safety margin. I really hope the cruise control update drops in the next 4 weeks...

Homelink and Park assist camera combo screen

The Homelink and camera / park distance interface, seems that most people like it as much as I do. The below does not have the very nice graphics of the Lucid experience. I think the camera view should keep the navigation at the bottom of the screen and add navigation on the left side that...

    2 Week Review

This is my first EV and 1 pedal driving felt natural almost immediately. Regeneration slows the car so much the brakes are not always necessary. How often the brakes will be needed of course will vary with driving styles and environment.

    Software Version 1.1.2+

I tried once from the phone and it failed, then I had to have customer care push it to me. Has worked fine from the car.

    1.1.6 Thoughts

I haven’t been able to get the car to recognize a usb source. Someone posted that it was planned in a future update. I don’t know the source for that claim, although given pretty much every car on the market with usb can do this, I would expect the Air to have this with some future update.

Picking up my Lucid DE Performance 21" Wheels

What tire do the Range editions have? I am very impressed with the Pirellis on the Performance. They are very quiet. I’m use to a lot of tire noise so it might be subjective.

    1.1.6 Thoughts

My experience is the car uses ~3.8 miles per 1kWh to show range regardless of if my use since the last charge is 1.8 or 2.8 or ….. It would be nice if in addition to average use you could display current (average of last 5-10 minutes) and what range is at that use. The range maps and trip...

    2 Week Review

From my seat position I feel the Lucid has good visibility. I have had the “brake hold” release on its own a few times and the car started rolling back. First time or two I thought maybe I touched the accelerator, but now I think it is releasing on its own for some other unknown reason. I do...

    Software issues

After a couple weeks of travel, I’m back to the Air as a daily driver. 1300 miles in, There are 4 items that impact my enjoyment of the car daily and everything else I could live with indefinitely. 1. Park distance / camera implementation needs significant improvement. 2. Homelink implementation...

    Software issues

Lucid is the best Luxury performance Sedan available from a pure driving perspective. I’m not an EV enthusiast, Lucid is the only EV I have any interest in. The car is awesome. Execution of basic functions that a Honda Accord does perfectly are so bad, it’s hard to get past. From entry of the...

    Some odds and ends

They don’t support that at this time. The car can only be associated with the log in used to buy it. I had to have my wife sign in using my Lucid user name and password so she can use app on her phone. I went over this at delivery and have detailed to customer care. Add it to the software update...

    Discussion with Lucid

Yes. The details are hard. I’m planning on moving out of CA to a much smaller market. Certainly the road to hell is paved in good intentions.

    Discussion with Lucid

I have a connection outside of being an owner. I asked someone to reach out to Lucid. This discussion did not happen because I am an owner. The concern was in my opinion very genuine. I did discuss how Lucid is attracting people like me and some of the others on this site who are not EV...
