Lease return excess wear & tear

How would you prove that they had changed their criteria for normal wear and tear if you didn't have a copy of the document that was in effect at the time you signed? I think it is reasonable to assume a company can revise their terms over a period of several years. Lucid's criteria for NW&T...

Lease return excess wear & tear

I suggest anyone who recently leased a Lucid download the current definitions of normal wear and tear. These documents could change between now and the time you have to turn in your car, and you will want to have a record of normal wear and tear at the time you signed your lease.

    2.8.0 Software Update

Well actually they could be life threatening if they get the system wrong, so I agree it is better to be late and right then on time and wrong.

    2.8.0 Software Update

My guess is that it is trying to follow the solid white line on the right edge of the lane, which follows the right side of the exit lane rather than the through lanes of the highway. I get the little flinches others have described. Generally I find the ADAS is reasonably good. The only...

Well there is no doubt you are special, and I am only somewhat special, but I do know people who are really special, and I think that should put me in line ahead of you.

    Touring vs GT

FWIW, everyone who has been in the backseat of my AGT mentions how spacious and comfortable it is. I really don't think the "raised floor" thing is an issue at all, but I could be wrong. The AGT is a fairly heavy car, but it is somehow agile AF.

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

Do we think there are software improvements to the ADAS system with this update, beyond becoming hands free? BTW, I think Lucid should allow me to have first crack at these updates because I am especially impatient. That's fair, right?

Yay, Tesla charging … July 31!

Moreover, I am willing to pay for options (spare tire, tire repair kit, windshield repair kit, CCS->NACS--AC and DC, heavy duty extension cord, etc) so that I don't have to worry about such things.

Lease return excess wear & tear

I would bet a lot of money that this is being discussed at very high levels at Lucid.

Lease return excess wear & tear

@JoshG I have read your posts with interest and respect, and for the most part have agreed with everything you've said. However I think your (justifiable) frustration over this incredibly bad Lucid experience may have colored your view of their response. To me, you got what you wanted and what...

    Weird sound loss

I feel like these sorts of bugs are completely inconsequential. My AGT is just an awesome ride. A little bug here and there is no big deal. Were any of your "no sound" incidents right after you charged the car?

2022 E-tron GT. The lane centering was very smooth. I would use it on my way home from restaurants after have a glass of wine. I think the Lucid ADAS might get me pulled over for erratic driving. Maybe I do need to have it in for service.

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

I wouldn't call it bouncing. It is more like it testing the limits of the lane. It def wanders more within the lane than my Audi did. Perhaps that's how its designed, or maybe the sensors need some tweaking. Hard to know. I was on the highway again today and it again tried to leave my lane. It...

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

I can't speak for others, but my Audi had an excellent adaptive cruise control. Very, very solid, never twitchy. It was rock solid on the highway. I used that thing all the time. My AGT, in 10 minutes of driving, did several puzzling/troubling things: it left the left side of the passing lane...
