    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I went to see my GGT yesterday. After the visit, I emphasize the importance of knowing facts as much as possible. My SA let me know prior to my arrival that she had been asked to attend a meeting last minute and would have to step away during some of my visit. I started with her and then worked...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

My SA contacted me this evening. PDI has been completed on my GGT. Going to look at it tomorrow. Home delivery date will be set by time I arrive. I was hoping to test drive it, but apparently their policy is that only service teams members can drive a customer's car until official delivery has...

Finally got WiFi working ... kind of

I kinda feel like I wasted a good amount of time not thinking about some basics. Thinking the default charger ip address would work versus the one assigned by the router, was a waste. However the instructions kinda led me to believe. Oh well.

I hate when things don't work. The Gravity will keep me awake a night. I already know that. Fortunately, the restaurant my wife suggested earlier today as I was knee deeper in LCHCS was closed today.

You're right. It's working w/o protocol designation, but only if I'm not using 192.168.1.xxx. So, I'm using 192.168.2.xxx.

HA! I got it. Duh. Had to use https and the ip address (192.168.2.164) assigned by the router instead of https://192.168.5.1 that I had been using. Now to see if by changing the home network ip address back to 192.168.1.1 I can used https and the new ip address the router assigns.

Or at least update the instructions to say "enter https://192.168.5.1" instead of "192.168.5.1. I possibly would have tried adding the http or https, but the forum saved me time.

The temporary ethernet connection is what the Lucid CC person suggested before I was suddenly disconnected. Ironically, I have an ethernet cable that I was hoping to use until I saw how narrow the entry for the cable was and the wierd grommet. I didn't see how an ethernet jack could fit through...

When I ping that ip address, I get successful pings. Test fails if I ping 192.168.5.1 which, I think makes sense if the router has assigned the charger the dynamic ip address of 192.168.2.164. Maybe not.

Correct. I can see the charger in the list of connected devices, based on its MAC address. Shows it's connected at 2.4GHz.

Correction: The second image I posted was the charger ip address after I had changed the home network ip address to 192.168.2.1. When the home network address is 192.168.1.1 the charger ip address is 192.168.1.163.

Had Lucid home charger (NACS version) installed today. Been stuck at that dreaded step of charger not connected to home wifi. Yep, I changed the home network ip address to something other than 192.168.1.1. I used 192.168.2.1. Also changed the DHCP Server ip address range to 192.168.2.2 thru...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

The digital detox feature mentioned at the 3:16 mark of this video doesn't seem to be active on the Gravity thus far. That should be resolved with a future s/w OTA that may, but I hope doesn't, require the dynamic ambient lighting feature. The MB EQS has a power nap mode, but doesn't seem to...

Frunk seats don't seem to stay in stock for long. Someone posted when they were back in stock and I ordered. A few days later, stock was gone.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

My SA said an actual delivery date would be set after the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) has been completed. She said she was hoping to hear something in the next few days. I'm on the Gravity priority list for service as well. Meaning high priority to cars in the PDI phase over regular service...
