Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

Huh?? Neither of these things are true, because if you just use the brake to stop, either flicking the switch up or down once or tapping the accelerator will resume. You don't have to re-set the speed.

RESOLVED 2025 Touring Door Handles Don’t Work

That's not "all smoke"... that's an update. It may not mean a lot to you, but "working on a diagnosis" is a perfectly valid status to be in. It's unfortunate for you that it's not a common issue with a quick fix, but I don't see the point in trying to go over the techs' heads when they are doing...

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

It's a chore to flip the left steering wheel toggle up? Or tap the accelerator? 🤨

Distance adjustments using gap settings button

The following distance scales with speed. So yeah, at 82 I'd expect one bar to still be a good bit of room. The Air GT's 60-0 stopping distance has been measured at 115 feet on the summer 21s (best case), so that's not a bad thing for the ACC to assume. I understand you may have to get closer...

New rim option for the Air?

I agree this looks better than the old 19s. It's all that extra sidewall there that makes it still look generic and unimpressive. 21s are where it's at. :p

    Which Source Dictates Charge Limit?

They should be synced, yes. I'm wondering if there's an issue with setting charge limit right now, because for the first time I had it ignore the charge limit I set from the app a couple days ago as well.

    Test Drive

I haven't driven a P2, but thinking about the specs and my experiences driving Airs: - Note that unless you're in Sprint mode, you're leaving half your advertised horsepower in the bag. It's a huge difference. - The Air GT is an odd one. It is heavy and you feel it. I think it shines more at...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

It's not nearly as common for me, but that is definitely happening to others. Lucid is aware.

[RESOLVED] Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

Glad to hear that's working, and on that note, is there anything you've noticed missing or not working right for Gravity in HA? Obviously we've got a pretty small testing pool there :)

Yay, Tesla charging … July 31!

For what it's worth, EA has said going forward they will only be opening locations with 10+ stands.

    Subscription for "Enhanced Connectivity"?

I'm not sure. I can tether my laptop to my phone with wireless CarPlay running, but I'm not sure if you can have the car connected to the phone while the phone is connected to the car... Certainly you could still do wired CarPlay.

    Subscription for "Enhanced Connectivity"?

I'm confused, what's stopping you from doing that now? Lucids can connect to WiFi, just make a hotspot from your phone.

    Subscription for "Enhanced Connectivity"?

Just like with EA eventually they're going to get around to billing for it. It just isn't developed yet.

    Climate keep fan-only mode

100%. I just know myself and I would absolutely forget to roll them back up when it starts raining.

    Climate keep fan-only mode

A/C is just moving heat as well. In a car it's designed for most of the exhaust heat to be pulled away as you're driving. If you're just parked on hot pavement, you're sitting in a puddle of your own heat and it becomes increasingly difficult to get rid of more. Add to that the battery and...

    Climate keep fan-only mode

What do you mean? It makes sense to me? It's just fans blowing outside air in. It may be miserable outside, but it's hotter under glass with trapped air.

Approaching stopped traffic with Adaptive Cruise Control active

You're not supposed to shoot people, even though guns are available. Yes it has fewer enforced guardrails than Drive Assist, but you're still expected to use it responsibly. It is. It's true. That feature is quite useful in stop-and-go traffic when you're right behind someone on a freeway. It's...

    Climate keep fan-only mode

I have no choice but to leave my car outside in the sun all day. No parking garage at work, barely any shade trees, just egg-fryingly hot pavement. I use both the overhead and windshield sun shades, and I put the side and rear built-in shades up. I've still seen the inside temperature reach over...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

Seeing the mobile key and unlocking are not equivalent. As I've explained here before, Bluetooth keying is not just "Bluetooth connected, so let's unlock" - it tries to use RSSI to approximate distance between your key and the car. Otherwise your car might unlock from a football field away...
