    Software Wishlist for 2025

Agreed! My wife's 2019 Lexus is able to do that. My 2025 Lucid Pure cannot. My radio works most of the time, but I have learned to live with it, keep wifif off, and re -boot it when needed. I love the styling and driving expereience. I have given up on the (never promised) V2L and (I think...

    Tarrifs

My 2025 Lucid Air Pure tag said that 53% was US made. The major non-US part is likely the battery, according to what I have gleaned from the web: "Lucid Air and Gravity models use batteries produced by Panasonic Energy, with cells initially sourced from Panasonic's facilities in Japan and...

Grab this opportunity! Push Lucid with Tesla flailing

Julesncate is correct! I live in a part of SC with lots of EV's. Lots of people ask me "what's that." I say "its a Lucid. "They say who makets it?"

Lucid, please bring "Keep On" from Gravity back to the Air - always powered on ports.

Thanks. When I get a chance, I am going to trick my relay box to stay on, and see if my 12 V trunk socket times out also. That would have saved me a lot of effort! Thanks.

Lucid, please bring "Keep On" from Gravity back to the Air - always powered on ports.

Borski: Can you please estimate how long it takes for trunk 12V outlet to go off assuming that car is locked and no person, fob or card are nearby. Thanks!

Lucid, please bring "Keep On" from Gravity back to the Air - always powered on ports.

Here is a follow-up on my previous thought. I just bought a 20AH (20,000 mah) USB power bank on Amazon for about $20. These things are usually over-rated so I'm only hoping to get 10 AH out of it. I am going to use it to power a camera that takes about 0.25 A at 5 v via USB. So, I can expect...

Lucid, please bring "Keep On" from Gravity back to the Air - always powered on ports.

I agree. You definitely do not want to lose that 12 V supply!! That's why I made sure my gadgets disconnected when I left the car BUT depending on how much you drive, and how much current your device take,s there are other ideas: For example, you could charge a power pack from the USB port...

Lucid, please bring "Keep On" from Gravity back to the Air - always powered on ports.

I can't recall how I measured it, but it definitely stayed hot when I expected it to be off. It may be that Borski is correct, and it was not yet in a deep sleep. Nontheless, I went to a bit of trouble to assure that the 12 V to the front was off (a few seconds after) I locked the car and walked...

Lucid, please bring "Keep On" from Gravity back to the Air - always powered on ports.

That is an intersting screen! I wanted the opposite. In my 2025 Air Pure, the trunk outlet is always on, and the USB is only on when the car is on. Since I run my ham radio via a heavy 12V wire from the trunk outlet to the front, I wanted the trunk outlet to be off when the car is off. I did...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I agree - I thinks its the modem. In my case, when it failed most reliably, was when the car was in my garage with a strong wi-fi signal and weak AT&T. Then, when I pulled out of the garage with the wi-fi signal getting weaker and a not very strong AT&T, it got confused and failed. I disabled...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I have been trying to find the cause of this. Did you have wi-fi off? How many signal bars do you have? My wi-fi has been off for over a week and I have not had the problem repeat yet. Our AT&T cellular signal here is 1-2 bars most of the time, as shown on the car.

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

No, I did not have service come out. I want to accumulate more major things (if any develop) to make their trip into the Lucid boonies more efficient. Meanwhile, the 2 button plus brake reboot (plus wi-fi off) seems to have worked for now.

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I'm still trackinng my experience. I have turned off my wi-fi. Our AT&T signal here varies from 1 to (rarely) 3 bars. It still seems to work after last reboot a week ago. Try turning off your wi-fi, note your signal strength, and report back.

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

Sirius/XM Fails: Status Report March 21, 2025 Sirius/XM still working after reboot a few days ago. Car pulled out of semi-shielded garage and parked in front of house with wi-fi off. Cell signal strength = 2-3 bars varying. Sirius/XM ok and 2.6.11 update loaded in less than an hour. My working...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

Status Report March 19, 2025. Its still working. I did some more research and discovered that the Sirius service is called 360L and is provided on AT&T's wireless network via an internet modem in the car. It first appeared on the Dodge RAM. If you go to their equivalent of our Forum, you...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

Latest Findings: March 15, 2025 Sirius Radio played on my drive home, and when I pulled into my home garage with wi-fi on. Next morning (3/16/25) it said no or slow internet and would not play when I drove away, nor my entire drive. I did not reset it since I wanted to see what would happen...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I agree. It is a very, very, very long shot. But I have seen cell cut off elsewhere in areas of very, very high peak demand. But it would come back after the peak. I will keep digging
