Thanks. That is my observation also. My small brain has not been able to master the dot dash timing for the trunk. For others it seems easy.

Please report back on your ability to use short then long press to open the trunk. I never get the timing right.

I turned that off because it kept locking and unlocking when I was working in my garage. I would be content with a simple 'trunk open' button on my keyfob like my Wife's Lexus and every econo-car I have rented in the past few years has.

I would love to see a wiring diagram and more technical info for the car including: antenna locations. Also, cabling of the computer into the large screen in the front. Also, how the key fob works.

I am dissapointed in Lucid for not owning up to the problems and coming up with fix. I sense that there are at least 2 problem areas, which may be related: Slow Wakeup and Poor Keyfob. A larger problem is lack of Lucid's comments and solution plan.

We/Lucid must pour our energy into technical cures, not litigation. I'm hoping that someone can analayze my post and find a way.
