    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

That is exactly what I do. I also use my battery augmented fob.

Anyone know of bidirectional charging status?

V2L would be easier than V2H. Exactly what is holding it up? It seems to me that Lucid is drifting behind other makes on AA, V2L, and keyfobs.

Anyone know of bidirectional charging status?

Blue: Perfect - I want Option 1 ASAP. (BTW - I was just on Rt 95 near Savannah Ga. and passed a carrier full of Ioniq's. I guess the plant near there has started operation.)

Anyone know of bidirectional charging status?

I just want something relatively simple: Get me 1 KW of 110 V at a reasonable price, via 1 outlet. (I know it has to start at 924 VDC, or so.)

Anyone know of bidirectional charging status?

Last week I was in the parking lot at the Millenia Mall in Orlando Florida. I saw a Rivian parked next to a Tesla running a cable to exchange power. I do not know in which direction it would flow.

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

I own an Android phone, and I would say that the delay in AA is only a very slight blip to me. If I had 100 points to award to my CURRENT perception of Lucid problems (after about 3 months of owning a 2025 Pure) I would spend them in the followiny way: - AA -1 point - Inferior key Fob (for...

    Another Hopeful NC Noob

Correct. The Android version on the Note 9 is too old. I do not blame Lucid for this.

    Another Hopeful NC Noob

I have a wonderfully working Samsung Note 9. The Lucid software will not work in it. I also am used to the wonderful keyfob performance of my wife's Lexus or an econobox that I rent when traveling. Its hard to step backward.

    Another Hopeful NC Noob

True. But you had better learn either or both ways because you cannot trust the battery life! Mine failed after 2 months or so.

    Another Hopeful NC Noob

You can just hold the card against the pillar. I already had to do this after 2 months. With a dead fob you have to do the following, according to the manual: "Depleted Key Fob Battery.....It is still possible to access the car even if the key fob battery is depleted. Press the driver’s side...

    Another Hopeful NC Noob

Beware of FOB battery going dead after a few months. ALWAYS carry card for emergency access. ( I know about fob NFC, but card is easier backup.)

    Actual Key Fob Data

Can anyone please give me some info of the timing needed to send the short + long signal from the key fob to open the trunk. It would be helpful in the form of short (seconds); space (seconds), long (seconds) We should not have to guess this. Thanks

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

Funny! Hopefully it is better than the Lucid's key-fob certification process.

    Actual Key Fob Data

I wish they would sell us one (perhaps at a discount) that works like those on a cheap rental car.

    Actual Key Fob Data

Lucid: A wonderful car insulted by a poorly designed key.

    Actual Key Fob Data

Note that it also has a real house key holder instead of a mysterious slot that I was never able to thread anything through. I am now trying to learn sending the letter A in Lucid Morse Code (with tricky timing) so that the trunk will open remotely.

    Actual Key Fob Data

Thanks Mondo: That explains a lot. Here is my Version 2 keyfob using a CR2477/VCN battery which should provide over 4X the life of the original battery. This uses an $8.95 key case from Amazon, that holds the Lucid fob and battery well. The battery was $4.38 + $6.99 shipping from DigiKey. A...

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

Oh Lucid, Oh Lucid, what ails thee? It seems to be Android Auto and the key.

    Actual Key Fob Data

I somehow have my proximity lock/unlock turned off - I think by a switch on the lower screen. I found the instructions in the manual. I do not have the mobile key on my Samsung Note 9 phone set up, since it is too old to use the Lucid Ap. The only way in/out right now is to HARD push the...
