Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

So we’re even! But the simple fact for my car is if I pair the mobile key, I cannot wake up the car with the app. When I completely unpair mobile key, everything works great. So it goes. Carrying the fob isn’t hard. Plus it makes opening the frunk way easier

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

No, it wouldn’t wake up with Bluetooth off. I unlinked mobile key yesterday evening and now my success rate is back to 100% being able to wake the car. This is so weird.

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

Additionally, a Tesla, Rivian, and BMW have all been parked in this spot and none had an issue with cell signal. They’re all on At&t

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

But if I don’t use mobile key, the car wakes up immediately every single time. How does that mean I have a poor signal? I mean yeah it’s not a great signal, but using mobile key shouldn’t make it worse

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

I just walked across my house, passing directly over my car, opened the app, and the car woke up. Wtf. I literally spent over a half hour watching the app try to wake the car when I was on the other side of my house

I have no idea how to report a bug like this to Lucid

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

I just enabled mobile key about an hour ago. Walked by the car a handful of times so it unlocked and locked a bunch of times. Came upstairs and opened the mobile app and the car woke up. I've moved across the house to my office (which is really only about 30-40 feet from the car if I could...

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

I see what you're getting at. I'll give it a go. I am guessing it IS doing the constant locking/unlocking thing and putting the car into a weird state. I've gone weeks at a time both with mobile key set up and without, and the ability to wake the car with the app is incredibly obvious. I'll...

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

So turn off the phone or the car's bluetooth? And do you mean disabling it entirely, or just like disconnecting and forgetting the phone/car connection for multimedia? I am happy to try, just wondering what direction you wanted to go with troubleshooting

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

Oh and I didn’t see this last part at first. I’ve tried both off and on WiFi and it made no difference.

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

My garage is beneath my living space, so I’m never super far from the car. If I set up mobile key, and I open the app on my phone (from anywhere in my house), it just keeps trying forever to wake up the car but never succeeds. When I’m out and about, it’s still the same, the car takes forever...

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

Why not? Even with mobile key, I want to preheat my car in the winter before I leave the house, but it’s impossible. It doesn’t make sense

Mobile Key fixed with iOS app update?

The only mobile key issue I've had is that I'm apparently too close to my car while I'm home, which means it will NOT wake up via the app when I'm home, at all. Also it crushes my phone's battery.

    New mobile app

I got the app on iOS last night. I noticed a note in the update about an option to vent your windows from the app. However, that is not currently visible, so I'm guessing a vehicle update is near, too.

Another simple subwoofer install with pics

12v outlet on a 15 amp fuse. Theoretically 180W is the max.

Ironically, that article says the Air has the “cooled” seats

    Ventilated Seats

In theory I agree. It's like a heat sink on a CPU. In practice, it does nothing to prevent swampass on a long drive during a hot day

    Ventilated Seats

Yep, I just got the call from my service center confirming that they pull air in, don't push air out. I wish I could have my seats pull a MegaMaid here and go from suck to blow. But here we are. No idea why car manufacturers think that's a good design, it works very poorly in every...

    Ventilated Seats

Interesting. That’s a shame. My service tech seemed to agree mine weren’t working so who knows

    Ventilated Seats

What's interesting is when I tested it before, it absolutely blew out, you could feel it. My prior car, BMX iX did the "suck in" thing, and it was worthless. Absolute crap. I don't know why some automakers feel the need to do it that way. I wonder if an update reversed how the fan spins to...
