Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

What I do not understand is why everytime I visit a delivery center, there's usually only 1-2 employees max at any time doing deliveries while all the other (4-6) employees are standing around with hundreds of undelivered Airs in the back

Help!! I Have a Reservation But I Don't know if I should Purchase a Lucid Air Touring!

    1. Metal roof due to heat/light. Regardless of tint, heat/light still seeps through to bother me at least. Then if you're choosing a very dark tint, what's the point of the glass canopy at that point? 2. If you appreciate life, splurge on the speaker upgrade. 3. DDP comes with additional...

You can't OTA hardware installations, and at the moment, future retrofitting hardware is not a consideration by the Lucid team. There are major hardware differences between DD and DDP. I do not understand why you brought up Tesla's FSD, since that is Level 3 autonomy, that is not what we are...

I must commend Lucid on their emphasis on excellent driving dynamics, and after test-driving it several times, it saddens me to know there are enthusiasts out there who have not been able to experience being behind the wheel of an Air. The Lucid Air is truly the epitome of a driver's car for a...

Many studies show younger generations prefer Level 2 and above ADAS, while older generations prefer traditional driving. If history tells us anything, newer generations are typically more prone to new technology while older generations are typically more traditionists. Add to the fact that...

If there's one thing I do not tolerate, it is bullying. Perhaps the Lucid Air is or is not the car for OP, but the statements in his initial post are actually genuine and constructive feedback. At this point, I'm not even sure if some people actually read his post. And maybe, even my post at...

That is why the proposed solution from my post is an intermediate package like Enhanced Dream Drive, and would include any necessary additional hardware excluding LIDAR because LIDAR isn't necessary for Level 2 Autonomy (its for Level 3 Autonomy.) Where did you see Peter say LIDAR was included...

The "Lucid is perfect" statement was meant to be sarcastically hyperbolic, nobody literally said "LA~LA~LA~" either. It was meant to convey that some owners may think Lucid can do no wrong and that Lucid doesn't have to make any changes, especially changes that can help Lucid. Obviously it is...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't one of the productive points of a public forums to provide an environment for members to engage in discussions, share grievances, and provide feedback? Sure, there may be the occasional consumer who just want to fling dung for the sake of flinging dung, but...

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

@gunick06 was referring to IRS's answer regarding the new federal ev tax incentive to "what is a written binding contract?" which states that a "written contract is binding if it is enforceable under State law [...]" And technically, a $300 or $1000 deposit converted to a non-refundable...

No one has Level 3 Autonomy right now because it's too hard, Tesla will most likely be the first to truly unlock it, but others seem to be way behind. This makes DDP less appealing especially since it is expected to not unlock Level 3 Autonomy for possibly a good long while. Unfortunately, DDP...

The Lucid Air is an amazing driver's car, but charging $9k-$10k for DDP seems overly priced. $6k would have been a more reasonable price, since most other luxury competitors charge about $2k-4k for those features, and Tesla charges $6k for those features.
