    Real Life Range

That part of the drive from CH to IT is over tall mountains, so the range is even more impressive.

VW investing up to 5 billion in Rivian.. per NY Times

I'm not personally familiar with the R1S, but I thought the Gravity was significantly larger? I've heard the Gravity has the exterior dimensions of the Q7 or X7 and the interior dimensions of a Yukon/Suburban. Is the R1S that large?

a proposal to reduce congestion at DCFC

I like your proposals in general. The only negative I see to them is that one of the common sales pitches about why charging is not that burdensome is that you can go in the store and do some shopping, go in the restaurant and have some lunch, etc. while your car charges. Having an extra...

    Post/share your non-Lucid other car(s)! (ICE-appreciation thread?)

I don't own a Lucid yet (waiting on the Gravity) but currently have a 2023 BMW i4, a 2008 BMW Z4M Coupe, and a 2024 Ineos Grenadier (so I am used to the gremlins of new manufacturers' vehicles). Here is a photo of the Grenadier and Z4M.

    OTHER Indicated speed

At what speed is it 2mph slow? 10mph, 50mph, 100mph? Usually the differences are a percentage so its hard to know the impact without the speed.

    Saudi Lucid Owners

I was driving from Dhahran to Riyadh about 10 years ago in a company car (Ford Crown Victoria) and encountered a sand storm. By the time I got to Riyadh the paint had been stripped off the front edges and the headlights had been sandblasted to a milky color (I probably should have pulled over...

I haven't tried HeatShield on a Lucid, but have used them on many other vehicles and been happy with them: https://www.heatshieldstore.com/car-window-shades/2023-lucid-air-sedan
