Also it may be worth calling the city of Austin (assuming this is within city limits). Google AI tells me that the city specifies that speed bumps should not be higher than 4 inches, which should clear. Who knows if AI is correct though.

Lucid doesn't have a trade-in program yet. Who knows when or if they will get one. You'll probably need to either do a private sale or sell it to one of those companies like AutoNation or CarMax.

Yeah if you are leasing and won't use the hitch then I agree its wasted money.

Its difficult to put a number on it, but I strongly suspect that the tow hitch on an SUV will pay for itself in better resale value. I suspect (but don't know) that adding a hitch to these after the fact will not be simple or cheap.
