    More YouTube Nonsense . . .

Youtube (and other sites) needs to get ahead of this and allow users to opt-out of results generated by AI. So many of the product reviews are AI generated with links for revenue sharing.

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

It depends on the timeframe covered by "these days". My Ineos Grenadier had more than two years between the time I placed the reservation and the time I got a delivery date (received it a little over a year ago). The Scout reservations have been open for a couple of months for allegedly a...

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

I get why you may be frustrated, but this is peanuts compared to other pre-orders / reservations from other car manufacturers. Waiting years for a new model without communication is not at all unheard of.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

Aerodynamic drag is only part of the picture. If you put the drive trains of a Lucid, Tesla, BMW, etc., and had them move the same vehicle shell (same weight, drag, etc.) at the same speed in the same conditions, the Lucid drive train and battery efficiencies are (reportedly) significantly more...

I haven't seen any other reports of this, and haven't experienced it myself. Is it a real thing?

Ground Clearance - Losing Out on Dream Car - Help!

Also it may be worth calling the city of Austin (assuming this is within city limits). Google AI tells me that the city specifies that speed bumps should not be higher than 4 inches, which should clear. Who knows if AI is correct though.

Just do what everyone else in Austin does and install a lift kit and 37" tires. ;)

    Forum traffic seems slow

Don't take it too harshly. You essentially walked into a cozy pub full of regulars and blurted out "this place is dead". You have to expect that some people won't take that observation without skepticism. Compared to other forums I'm on I find this one to be generally kind and full of...

    Forum traffic seems slow

Its likely that if you are on this forum (I mean all of us) you are a tech dinosaur. Forums in general are dying and being replaced with things like Reddit, Discord, and Facebook. That being said, this is one of the more active forums I participate in.

Lucid doesn't have a trade-in program yet. Who knows when or if they will get one. You'll probably need to either do a private sale or sell it to one of those companies like AutoNation or CarMax.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

It used to be that you could just add an aftermarket hitch and wire-in a controller yourself. Nowadays many modern cars do more than just control the trailer lights and physically connect the trailer. They often also change drive settings in the vehicle to "tow mode" which impacts all sorts...

Yeah if you are leasing and won't use the hitch then I agree its wasted money.

Its difficult to put a number on it, but I strongly suspect that the tow hitch on an SUV will pay for itself in better resale value. I suspect (but don't know) that adding a hitch to these after the fact will not be simple or cheap.

    Non Lucid home charger

I find that I need to insert the charger into the Lucid with a little more gusto than I need to with our BMW. My wife often doesn't give it quite enough force when plugging in the Lucid and it will appear to start charging but will give an error later. The fix is to unplug and replug it in...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I'm a little surprised the orders placed so far in this thread don't include the towing package. If the plan is to lease and you don't tow, then I get that saving the $750 is worth it. But if you are buying, the $750 gives you that added flexibility, and likely increases resale. I suspect...
