    Gravity test drive

Curious how often you think FSD would crash without a human monitoring it. L3 requires a driver to be in the driver's seat so it doesn't help people who can't drive (technically they are not driving while the system in engaged though). I think the only L3 systems will be highway only like...

Looks most like a Lincoln Corsair to me.

    Gravity; SUV or Minivan

I'm curious what makes the rear minivan like? To me what makes its minivan-like is the short hood and what makes it wagon-like is the low roof height.

    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

Looking forward to sitting in one. Again though, my concern isn't about noticing it, it's about noticing things that are blocked by it. I do realize that every modern car has this issue.

Forgot about that. Could probably still do the lower half, good for seeing kids.

    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

I hate modern car A-pillars. A full grown adult fits in the blindspot they create. Always bobbing my head around every time I make a left turn. I've also been hit by a car turning left (I assume because they didn't move their head) I always wonder whether instead of making them wider in the...

    Gravity available at Millbrae

In the first picture of the second post the right 2nd row seat is slid forward. Sure looks like a 7 seater without the 3rd row, hope they don't ship 5 seaters like this...

    Lease Gravity

Gravity has already been in production half a year. lol. If there are deals this year either Lucid is in big trouble or they somehow ramp to the planned production rate.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I'm talking about what is legal for new cars not what can be added afterwards. It's definitely a thing that almost every new SUV has dark rear tint whereas cars don't. I thought it was a regulatory issue but I'm not sure how much time I want to spend on this. lol.

We're talking about the same thing, I wasn't specific enough. I think the limit is 70% light transmission for cars which is a very light tint and some people might not even notice it. The Gravity windows are much darker.

Maybe Lucid was breaking the law? They don't offer factory tint right now. I always thought it was illegal because I've never seen it as a factory option. Lucid has sold trucks according to Motor Intelligence, just not in May. They sold them in April as the other poster mentioned (you can use...

If it has rear tinted windows then it's a truck, cars aren't allowed to have factory tint. I don't make the rules. :p Also, what other trucks would Lucid be selling?

Gravity GT - acceleration data (Dragy measured)

I think Draggy uses doppler shift from GPS signal to measure speed (I know VBOX works this way). When you take the derivative of speed to get acceleration force it's noisy. Doesn't really matter what the limitation is though, my only point was that you can't measure changes in throttle response...

None in San Diego yet. Admittedly he did say they would be in all studios. “nearly finished building all the vehicles that we wanted to build to put them into our studio and for test drives. And by the end of April, we will resume customer deliveries of the Gravity.”

Maybe that is what happened. They actually did "nearly" finish building all the showroom cars in March but by "nearly finished" Winterhoff meant that there are a bunch of cars 99% finished waiting on parts...

    Gravity EPA docs are here.

Continuing to beat this dead horse. LOL. (I was closing tabs and saw the table again) The tires and wheels are also different widths in their test! 195 205 225 225 235 6" 7.5" 8" 8" 8.5"
