    Ceramic Spray Coating

I have used this product with great success every month or so. Easy to apply, just spray on liberally while car is wet from hand car wash, and remove it with deep pile soft absorbent cloth. Drying only, no buffing at all. My AT has ppf on it but also use it on other cars that don’t.

    Speculation Lucid UX 3.0

Thanks! The implication is that 3.0 is going to be available in the Air models as well. Will it be offered via an update to older cars or available in the Airs going forward only?

Lucid added as "coming soon" on Tesla SC network

Thanks. So it is a smart connection then.

Lucid added as "coming soon" on Tesla SC network

I have heard it said that if the Tesla app is configured in such a manner that the car being charged is a car that is truly approved for Tesla (say an Ionique 5) then it will also work for the Air as it is not a smart connection.

Lucid added as "coming soon" on Tesla SC network

Yesterday I tried to test my adapter on a Tesla supercharger and could not get close enough to connect to the cable end (yes, I straddled the line) as the curb was too high for my license plate. The car is registered in New York and a front plate is required. So, rather than drill the front...

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

Sorry to hear that! I won’t mention my rates… Do you have multiple windshield claims? 😁

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

Have you tried getting a quote from State Farm, they were the best deal around for my Air Touring. I had all of my insurance with Travelers and they wouldn’t insure the Lucid so I went with Hagerty initially. Eventually moved everything to State Farm.

    This I like...Things I don't...Things I miss as a former Tesla M3 owner

I love my Air Touring trunk. It easily accommodates my folding three wheel electric scooter that I use to get around for medical reasons.

Windshield Crack - Not Covered by Warranty

I am going to have the Expel product installed as I can’t find an Exoshield installer in Orlando. TintWorld here has stopped using it and now uses Expel. Apparently there were difficulties in installation and a high failure rate. I am wondering how far up the glass canopy I should go. One...

    2.6.11 Update

I went to charge Lucy and was pleased to see that the car had fixed itself, perhaps by falling asleep.

Electrify Expo Orlando 2025-LUCID is here!

We just got back from the Orlando Electrify Expo and there were multiple Lucid Airs on display (no Gravity vehicles). Lots of people interested in the Airs! I met some really nice Lucid people.

    2.6.11 Update

Only issue detected thus far is the inability to select or deselect the hold/roll feature in Stop Mode Drive Settings. It is grayed out on the screen.

Tesla Level 2 Home Charger to 2025 Air

I think that the more costly Lectron NACS to J1772 adapter works reliably at 48A with the Air as does the TeslaTap adapter.

Windshield Crack - Not Covered by Warranty

Thanks to all who responded. I will be getting the Exoshield coverage installed for $900 at the end of the month. The installer's warranty against discoloration or decreased clarity is only for one year, due in part to the Florida sun. Does anyone have any thoughts on how far, if at all, the...

Windshield Crack - Not Covered by Warranty

I am thinking about putting protective film on my windshield, and I have the glass canopy. I have STEK clear PPF on the car. Should the windshield film extend beyond the face of the windshield onto the roof area somewhat? Is there anyone in the Orlando, Florida area that can be recommended for...
