    Too Frustrating

FWIW - Lucid is not alone here. Tesla and Rivian both keep their updates on the down low until they begin to rollout.

New to the Lucid Family - From Model X to Gravity Dream Edition

Do NOT rely on the internal Lucid app for Tesla charging. It took me to two chargers today that it said were Tesla charging one was non existent and the other was ChargePoint (but the Lucid app said “Tesla” and I have it filtered to only show Tesla). The phone app appears to be correct. I...

New to the Lucid Family - From Model X to Gravity Dream Edition

I have a 2022 X and a Gravity. Random thoughts: 1) Third row - useless in the X but my kids fight over it in the Gravity. It’s great. 2) Interior - depends what you like, but the interior is really well designed and feels a level above Tesla. 3) Driving - it’s planted and feels like it’s...

Kelly Blue Book: Gravity vs Escalade

It’s kind of odd that it’s almost all stock footage. They show the CCS/J1772 charge port for the Gravity, for example, but she talks about NACS. To be fair, you really can’t get the Gravity for under about $115,000 if you want leather, dynamic handpick (a must!), dream drive pro, better sound...

Kelly Blue Book: Gravity vs Escalade

If it’s like Tesla and Rivian, yes, I think that’s how it would display, but perhaps there’s an Air owner who knows…

Gravity: Helpful Tips for Automated Car Wash?

Yes. It made one hell of a story…

Kelly Blue Book: Gravity vs Escalade

Yes, though it’s about 118 kWh usable.

    How did Tesla do it?

One more piece as I was thinking about this today. Someone, or group, at Lucid really, really, really knows what they’re doing when it comes to the driving dynamics, motor, design, suspension, etc. It’s an absolutely insane and amazing car that is multiples better than an X. However, there’s...

    How did Tesla do it?

Yes, the X auto open driver door is a gimmick, but it works. And it generally works well and has since it came out - with a fob, almost 10 years ago. The world is far less patient with EVs than it was when Tesla released the S and X. As an early S and X owner, I can tell you those cars were in...

    Lucid Gravity Lease Buyout

Yes re: “early termination”. Anything prior to lease end is early termination.

Don’t even get me started on no CD player option…

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Is the “Animated” button under Lucid Vibes supposed to do anything on a non-tech package GGT? Mine does not impact the ambient lights in any way, so I figured it’s vestigial and left in UI from Tech package as the manual says something about “in equipped vehicles…”

    Too Frustrating

With all this radio talk, is no one going to even mention the complete lack of AM? I mean come on, it’s a six figure car. I’ve got Tidal and TuneIn and apparently something called “SiriusXM”…Where’s the AM??? Too frustrating. 😂

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

My toll tag DID work today but I put it right where it’s supposed to go - which is only big enough for a toll pass. I have an RFID “tag master” for work. Can’t get it to work anywhere on windshield. Just have to wave it outside of the car…all good. But if my iPhone GPS is a bigger issue...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Update on my stuck passenger side rear window. Service tech was awesome this morning. Worked on it for 1.5 hours as he knew I had to hit the road for part two of road trip. Ultimately, after removing inside panel of door, he did a bunch of tests to confirm signals and power were being sent...

    Gravity 75 mph Range

I don’t know if this is how the math works, but when my “dynamic” range decided to reset itself, it set to 3.30 m/kwh and at 80% showed 309 miles of dynamic range - effectively 80% of the rated 386. So, 3.30 m/kwh is how the math must break down for rated range…so 117kw of usable battery…or...
