Gravity Service Appointments and Time In Service

^. This is/was my concern. If they’re “only” into the triple digits on deliveries - give or take per Nick Twork - it’s disheartening to see the service network so (potentially) overwhelmed. The window regulator for my Gravity can be replaced via mobile tech. That’s what the mobile tech was...

    How to access camera views?

Here’s the menu - it’s “Parking Feature” and it includes the backup/forward camera plan surround view though it only mentioned surround view.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

I’ve not noticed, but wouldn’t surprise me if this was an OTA update that came later. That’s what happened with our R1S.

Gravity Service Appointments and Time In Service

Decided to create this because my window issue is not a bug and it feels like “bugs/issues” is getting a bit noisey and I feel like we need a place to discuss issues and service beyond bugs. In particular, I am curious to understand how long it’s taking folks to schedule a service appointment...

Yeah, I just did it at delivery before I signed forms. And I was at KOP service center.

    How to access camera views?

It’s configurable in the car. I think it’s 0, 6,11 or 16 or something like that. Also, both Rivian and Tesla allow some cameras to be on all the time if you choose - even at 70mph. Personally, that makes me sick, but it’s an option.

Charging my Gravity at BP Pulse

Went to BP Pulse in Elkton, MD today. Had about 120 miles of range, so not a super low SOC (32%). Still, it immediately pulled 321kw. It was insane. You could see the miles going up. It didn’t stay there too long though and settled at 246kw by the time it was at 39% - which took about one...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Mine are good enough for what I need them for. I’d be upset if I were trying to watch a show in 4K, but I’m not. If they get better, great. If not, I am okay. I’d rather my fob work… 😏

Kids, cleats, boots, snow and dogs mean I have to use non-carpet mats.

No, they don’t slide at all. Also, but for the front mats, there’s not much of a lip on the mats. LinerX should have them relatively soon. If you can, I’d wait for those.

They “lock” in place with the same mechanism as the carpet except they don’t have Velcro like carpet does (though you could add that if you wanted with Velcro off Amazon). There’s a sort of plastic piece on mat that you push into flooring in Gravity.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

You can tell the Gravity to “precondition” the battery for fast charging. This will heat/cool the pack based on its current temp and the ideal temp for fast charging. Ironically, this does take battery power to do, but not much and it will improve your charge speed no matter the weather. That...

    Gravity ordered Tysons

Unless your windows are down, in which case sets heaters will be on and rear climate set to 86…🤣 Sorry, just happened to me, so I couldn’t resist!

    Gravity ordered Tysons

Will throw in my thoughts. Generally agree with others, so only comments are as follows: Dynamic Handling - it’s the ONE option I absolutely recommend 1,000%. The rear wheel steering changes everything - not just U-turns. Lane changes, parking, etc. It’s just an incredibly dynamic (no pun...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Interesting re: new fob…wonder how quickly they can get those distributed or if they will just wait for folks to complain. Also surprising as the gov manufacturer is well known and has done a ton of fobs for high end cars - so hard to believe the actual fob was the issue. But who knows… Someone...

    Too Frustrating

I can’t recall for Tesla, but in the two years of Rivian ownership, I can only recall one update that was very quick and that’s when they bricked people’s infotainment accidentally. The update/fix came in less than a week, I think. People literally couldn’t use infotainment at all. While...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

There’s no difference for the mats, is there? You’d use all the pieces of the 7 seater still. If you have the five seater, the second row still has the motors, so you’d need and want the same protection in the “gap” area behind the second row…that’s probably why they only sell one variation.
