Maybe it is because you set the cruise speed @87mph and you are in a 70mph zone. 😉

Lease return excess wear & tear

What percent of Lucid sales in the past couple of years are leases through BoA? I don't know the percentage , but I bet it was the majority of Lucid's business.

Lease return excess wear & tear

I presume Lucid-lease is not the first auto leasing under-writing that BoA has done. So, have anybody reserach other BoA car leases and those terms/conditions? Are they similar to the Lucid lease deals or are the Lucid leases different? Are the other leesees satisfied or dissatisfied with...

    Supercharger Access Timeline Discussion

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

You raised a fair point RE: entilement. That said, one would think that if Lucid can acquire the adapter in bulk (say 10,000 units) and sell it to the owners who really wnat one say @$120 (instead of $220), that would be a good gesture and "ensures/encourages" the Air owners to use a properly...

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

Are these adapters "dumb" (i.e., passive pass-through) devices or do they have some intelligence (e.g., a sensor chip) that could detect overload and automatically cut of the charging?

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

I have the same thoughts as @thyname. While I don't think Lucid "owes" the owners a adapter per se, It would be a good will gesture to do so for existing Air owners. A back-of-envelop calculation suggests the cost would be approx $4-5M cost to Lucid. Aside from Hyundai, Rivian also gave its...

    RESOLVED Service delay

I understand your frustration. There is no specific way to get get a hold of Milbrae and talk to a service rep. It feels like you call a "800" number, and hope they call back. My most recent expereence was, someone apparently hit/nudge my bumper from behind resulting in a rear quarter panel...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

My 2022 AGT is PPF'ed. Yes, it has frequent mobile key problems, but I don't think PPF has anything to do with it. As I posted before, I have a R1S and a AGT. I have two homes. Both cars are garaged in the same garage(s). The R1S (literally) never had any mobile key problem but the Lucid...

New Member Here - Question about Rear Seat/Floor Height in GT

I concur....while theAGT has a 3" higher floor than the AT/Pure, the Air (all trims) have a lot of leg room (back seat to front seat) in the rear. As such, unless you are 6ft 6in and taller, you won't feel cramped.

    Lucid partnership

Great news! Assuming you can open the door when your Gravity robotaxi arrives! ;)

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

Totally! My Rivian key works every single time. Both my R1S and my Lucid AGT are in the same garage. Keys are on the same phone. Hence, WiFi interferences/Bluetooth signal strength are equivalent. Rivian works every time. Lucid unlocking is a crap shoot!

    Lucid Navigation Opinions

I think it is a good move on Rivian's part. That said, I don't have any problem with Rivian's (R1S) existing map/ navigation. It is much better than Lucid's HERE maps. That said, I don't think neither Rivian nor Lucid should spend their energy on their own instantiation of maps and...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

Here is some data, for whatever it is worth: https://ev-database.org/imp/cheatsheet/range-electric-car According to this data, the average range for these EVs is 232 miles. The top 30 or so EVs (range) are all expensive (high 5-figure $ to 6-figure $ vehicles). Thus, the weighted...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

This is not a legitimate "record" on EV efficiency as the circumstances convolute driving efficiency and elevation change without any quantification. As it stands, it is totally meaningless, hence the skepticisms by some of us. As a comparison, in 2019, a Virgin Atlantic 787 set a "speed...

    Phoenix Area

Is the Lectron a L2 charger? Most chargers at work are L2, I think. If it is, and you set your Lucid Air Pure to start charging at 12AM, your car will wait until 12AM to begin charging. Your car can't tell one L2 charger from another. L3 fast charge has extra pins. Can you override/disable...
