    Gravity 75 mph Range

Yes, wheel size matters. Need to derate the achievable range accordingly.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

That would be great! Please share your data with us. Keep a log on your speeds as well. Speed, elevation change, temperature, and AC usage are key modulating factors.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

2.7mi/kWh equates to (roughly) 330 mile range, about 74% of the claimed range (450mi). These metrics are similar to what the Air achieved. But we need more data and controlled efficiency/range tests to pin it down for the Gravity.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

If indeed there is such dramatic difference between the 2022 and 2025 AGTs, wouldn't Lucid make a big deal of it and change the efficiency/range specs? The 2022 and 2025 spec-claims can't be both correct at the same time?

    Gravity 75 mph Range

As I said in my post, I follow OoS and I respect Kyle's work. Additionally, I am NOT saying OoS did their testing at high elevation with the intention to make the mileag/efficiency results more favorable. For those of you who don't follow OoS closely, Kyle's OoS operation is based in Ft...

    Gravity 75 mph Range

Thank you for compiling the above data. I agree with your take on the 10% challenge. In many respect, it reflects the actual usage of the car on roadtrips (efficiency, charging speed, # charging stops per trip, etc.). Unlike many of you, I bought my 2022 AGT mostly because of the claimed...

    Gravity 75 mph Range

I haven't seen this OoS video in particular. That said, I am familiar with OoS's reviews. Let me start by saying that I enjoy Kyle's OoS review and i respect his work. OoS has done many of these range testing on EVs. On an apple-to-apple comparison (i.e., diffrent EVs, same tests) I think...

    Gravity 75 mph Range

As you noted, the Taycan has better charging performance than the AGT. Perhaps the Gravity can do better. As you noted, the AGT, at 80mph, registered about 3.2miles/kWh. But the Taycan is actuallly more efficient, wasn't that the case? On specs alone, Lucid AGT would look like it blows away...

    Gravity 75 mph Range

I am NOT talking about wether there was improvement on efficiency on the 2025 AGT. My question is, w As you pointewd here is the data (not ancedote) that quantified the actual achievable range on the 2025 AGT vs competition. As you pointed out in your posting, as a group, the German EVs...

    Gravity 75 mph Range

Perhaps the 2025 AGT might fare better. Did Lucid actually changed the claimed EPA range or the mi/kWh on the 2025 AGT?

    Gravity 75 mph Range

The AGT's claimed EPA range was/is 512 miles and its battery size hasn't changed much either, correct? Thus, independent of the EPA test criteria, why would the conclusions be different?

    Charge Limit

Perhaps the temperature is also a factor. I'd suspect the batteries are "warm" right after you finished charging to 100%. Overnight, the temperature might have dropped.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

Gravity will win the 10% challenge, provided there are plenty of 400kW charger en route! The stretch between Idaho and Ohio might be challeging!

    Gravity 75 mph Range

The results are not surprising, in spite of the fact that the Lucid Air probably has the lowest drag coefficient. In particular, (from the C&D article):

    Real World Hwy efficiency numbers

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have a 2022 AGT and a 2023 Gen1 RIS Quad. I travel 3-4X per year between Marin County CA and Phoenix AZ (I-10/I-5). I've driven both vehicles on this strech (~740 miles). The biggest elevation change on this route is the Tejon pass, ~4,100 ft. I...

    Real World Hwy efficiency numbers

Trying to understand your R1S data.....you have a Gen 2 R1S Quad, correct? Your metric of 1.9m/kWh is on highways? 75mph? Was the R1S "loaded" (ie.e, passengers and gears? Weather? Elevation change? Your 2.74mi/kWh is under the same conditions?

Over a week with Gravity, my thoughts

That sounds rather optimistic.....seems marginal to me @80mph/6,500 ft elevation change/winter weather/loaded SUV. I'd love to hear about the actual achievable range under these conditions. Getting there from San Jose to Tahoe is the problem. Coming home should be a breeze!

Lease return excess wear & tear

I don't know the exact numbers, but I bet a large part of Lucid's business in the past couple of years was driven by leasing. It has major financial implications if they screw this up! At a minimum, they should make the return/inspection criteria and the resultant charges visible. $650 for...

From 2022 to current, what percentage of Lucid's sales are leased?
