I got my VIN on Saturday and was told to expect 2 to 8 weeks for delivery. That seems like a potentially very long time after leaving the factory. I'm in San Diego so transportation won't be the issue.

I certainly hope so.

Mine is red with Tahoe. Sounds like I have 2 things in my favor. Now I just need my VIN.

That gives hope for those of us in the December group (even though I should be in November):). I imagine those in November with no VIN's probably aren't going to be so happy.:mad:

I have purchased all of my car covers from California Car Cover. They have a great selection and custom fit. I don't know when the Lucid will be available. I'm guessing they need someone to offer their car as a template. Maybe someone could end up with a new car cover for doing that :)

I've got to admin I'm a little bummed that I ended up bumped to a later batch with a May 21 reservation. I'm sure it will all be worth when they finally get around to the December batch. Below is the reply I got when I asked about it. Thank you for bringing this up and for being a Lucid...

I just sent off an email asking for any updates. It seems that my order date is in the batch after others that were placed after mine. I ordered May '21 but seem to be in the following batch. I will be curious to see what kind of response I get.

I'm using the plates off of my e-Tron. NO ETHYL with the license plate frame, Powered by the Sun since we have 72 solar panels at home. On my 67 Vette, the plate reads LV ETHYL with the license plate frame Ain't No Octane High Enough.
