Key cards, fobs and phones, oh my!

It would be great to be able to speak to your watch and have the trunk respond quickly, especially when your hands are full. I’m sure they’ll solve this eventually.

Key cards, fobs and phones, oh my!

I've tried that several times and it was always very slow. Does your trunk open quickly with Siri?

Key cards, fobs and phones, oh my!

The last time the battery died in my fob I didn't bother to change it for three weeks and instead just used the mobile key. It worked flawlessly. The only feature I missed was the ease of opening the trunk or frunk by simply clicking the fob.

Can I just say how much I love the sound engineer who designed all the little sounds in this car

I did the logo reset, but I still have no button sounds. Since all other sounds work fine, including the turn signals, I think I'll just enjoy the silence.

Can I just say how much I love the sound engineer who designed all the little sounds in this car

Yesterday afternoon, every button I touched on the screens made a clicking sound, the Homelink button, folding mirrors, navigation, etc. It hadn't done this before and today the sound is gone. Not that I want the sound, but out of curiosity, is there a way to turn this sound off and on?

What would you like to see from the Lucid mobile app?

I'd like to be able to schedule Remote Climate. It's a great feature, especially in the summer when the car is usually scorching after being parked outside. However, I generally forget to start it in time to cool the car. It would be fantastic if I could schedule the car, well ahead of time, to...

Will EA be the death of EVs?

I was listening to a Science Friday program on EVs last year. Several people called in and were critical of the vehicles. It was surprising how uninformed they were. One person stated that the problem with EVs is that you have to spend as much time charging as you do driving.

    Release Version Megathread

Do you think they are still distributing .61 or do you think they immediately found bugs in it and have released .64 instead?

    Best reactions to your Air

I pulled up to a four-way stop in my neighborhood. On the opposite side were two ten-year-old boys sitting in a golf cart with a third hanging on askew in the back. Urgently waving their hands, they signaled me to stop. At first, I thought someone might have been hurt. I pulled my car next to...

    Permanent button for Homelink

The Homelink menu dropped down when I was at least two miles away from my house today. It happened at a location where I'd never parked before.

    21" tires and Blowouts

Yes. They examined them visually and scanned the tread with a handheld device.

    21" tires and Blowouts

Yes, and it still seems like a reasonable cost.

    21" tires and Blowouts

Discount Tire warrantied mine for $225, but they also will charge $50 per incident to renew the warranty.

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

I saw a Quantum Gray Air "in the wild" with a temporary tag at Point Reyes Station yesterday.

Pirelli Tire Issue & Warranty Megathread

...especially considering that one 19" tire is $250 from Tire Rack or $350 if you buy it from Lucid.

    Permanent button for Homelink

The car seems to know its location when it's in the garage. Maybe it's just reporting last known location. If the system just uses satellites, it would difficult to get a fix there, but if the system uses a combination of satellites and cell towers, it probably does know its location in the...

    Permanent button for Homelink

Maybe that's it, but I don't know enough about the geolocation systems to make a guess. Is the Homelink system separate from the one Lucid uses for navigation?
