I'm thinking that the increased wake up performance is due to the fact that the vehicle is now staying connected to wi-fi (hopefully in a very low power state). As I previously reported, I am now seeing a constant connection to my Eero at home. I hope that this doesn't increase vampire drain.

I had ver tried to play via Siri, and it looks like it does work but no hi res. Once I initiated Amazon Music via Siri, it got stuck on Amazon Music and I couldn’t play something from Audacy unless I force closed the Amazon Music app. Perhaps iOS 18, which will be released imminently will...

I agree, very disappointing as I use Alexa to play music from services that aren’t integrated into the Lucid UI. Now I will be forced to fiddle with CarPlay to try to navigate to the services I want.

Would be good if someone who received the update could confirm if you don’t enable the Lucid assistant does Alexa still function

The update looks great, and this was exactly the same question / concern I have. I hope Alexa is still available for those that want it. I use it to play Amazon Music and Audacy stations.
